'We had a wonderful time staying at this cozy cottage! The setting on the lake is so beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed watching sunsets on the dock. Being steps from the water was so fun. The water out to the end of the dock stays fairly shallow so our young kids had a blast splashing and swimming. We also enjoyed bonfires, kayaks, and some fishing. 'Great cabin right in the middle of Eastern U.P. which allows easy travel to other great tourist areas in any direction. We went NW to Munising, north to Grand Marais, NE to Tahquamenon Falls, SE to Mackinaw, and SW to Manistique. Cabin came fully stocked with what we needed, included games and movies, and had a nice pond that really added to the peaceful environment.'

'We had a little snafu with the property we were supposed to stay in. Well before we got there, the onwer got into contact with us, explained the situation, and offered a replacement property, a bigger house than we had booked. A few miles from where we had planned, but not enough to matter and more than made up by the replacement house. Very nice house ,wifi is a bit slow (its the UP, it's common), well stocked. Excellent owner, great communication. Would definitely rent from her again. '

'We stayed 3 nights in this CLEAN, spacious, comfortable 3bdrm home with private backyard. This place is so peaceful, we enjoyed the back deck with chairs/table. We did not get to use the fire pit due to rain that night. The enclosed porch was a great alternative. The house is spacious, we hope to return with friends next time. Kitchen/bath have everything you will need. Check in was simple, all instructions were provided ahead of time and also onsite including local recommendations...

'Great property! House has everything you might need. Porch in the process of repairs and shower curtain could use replacement with more than just a fabric curtain. But plenty of room for our group of 8 adults. Spacious kitchen. Centrally located for trips to Munising/Pictures Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls. Easy checkin and checkout. '

'Our family had a great time staying at the sunshine shack! Lots of room, never felt like we were on top of each other. The basement game area was great for our teens and adults. Extra fridge in the garage made storing everyone’s food simple. The park across the street was great for the younger kids and a family game of kickball. Just one wish would be for a second bathroom but did not ruin our stay at all. We would definitely stay again! '

'Nice place, centrally located. We visited Kitch-iti-kipi, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon, Oswald's Bear Ranch and Whitefish Point all within an hour or less from the house. Very Clean!'
