'As soon as my spouse and I walked in, it was almost like a magickal getaway! The lighting, the smell, the atmosphere overall was so relaxing and warm and inviting! Amanda had so much prepared and setup for easing into our vacation, getting comfortable, having the little things ready for the morning. The yard is on a forest active with birds and squirrels and other critters - even saw a wild turkey! AMAZING PLACE! Wonderful! Thank you!!!'

'The cottage was in a perfect location for my family's one week stay. Only a short drive to Bar Harbor, the beach at Seal Harbor and the trails and carriage roads of Acadia. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need for preparing any meals. The air conditioner and heaters (one cool night!) worked very well. I recommend this cottage to everyone planning on visiting the area!'

'Words cannot accurately describe the beauty of this property. Located right on the ocean, the views are spectacular and we enjoyed every minute we spent here, taking in the sunrises and watching the lobster boats in Frenchman's Bay. We loved staying in Hancock, which is a nice distance from all the places we love to visit when in Maine Chippers Restaurant is right down the road and my husband enjoyed the Lobster Alfredo immensely. We find ourselves in Ellsworth and Bar Harbor often when we visit...

'This location was comfortable, clean, and offered easy access to the downtown area of Bar Harbor, as well as the Acadia National Park entrances. We had enough space for three of us, including the number of bathrooms, lounging in the living area, cooking in the kitchen, and sitting out on the deck. I would recommend this space to anyone wanting to visit the area.'

'Good location on a quiet street only 10 minute walk to downtown. We only used the master bedroom (there is a second bedroom) and the bed was quite comfortable. Photographs on Vacasa’s website give the impression of a much more modern, updated home than reality. House is satisfactory and in reasonable shape, but condition and furnishing do not warrant the premium price. Also Vacasa was not very responsive to our repair requests (issues were not urgent but did deserve attention).'

Clean, comfortable, everything we could need was there, and the location was perfect for exploring everything while an easy walk to town. Our pups enjoyed the yard and were at ease in the quiet neighborhood. The owner communicated well and promptly. We even had fresh flowers! Thank you Barbara for a wonderful place to stay for our vacation! Made some great memories with our daughter.'
