'We really enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. The location was fantastic—peaceful, quiet, and with beautiful views and easy access to the Cove, which made for some great outdoor time. The house itself was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably.The host was very responsive and easy to contact, which we appreciated.There were a couple of drawbacks worth noting: we had some trouble with fruit flies during our stay, likely due to the season, and the living room...

'We loved our stay in this beautiful, secluded oceanfront cottage! The home had everything we needed and the view was absolutely amazing! Stewart's Grocery & Takeout had great takeout pizza and groceries. We enjoyed lovely maple cortados at the Milkhouse Cafe south of Machias, and fantastic lobster bisque at the Public House. Eastport, Lubec, and Pembroke are all an easy drive away. We also enjoyed Lunch on the Wharf in Corea. An unforgetable stay in an unforgettable location.'

'My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! Absolutely adorable place. Completely private location. The house itself was immaculately clean and newly renovated with a pretty interior with comfortable, sturdy furniture. The host was so nice and very responsive. Next time we are in Maine, this will be our first choice rental.'

'Our stay in Amy's Gull House was wonderful. The house is clean, well equipped and was perfect for us. It's location half way between Mount Desert Island and Schoodic Peninsula makes it a perfect base for an Acadia region vacation. Amy was very responsive and helpful at all times. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again.'

'Property is ideal for a couple or small family. Located off Main Street in Bar Harbor, it was perfect for walks to restaurants, shops, the Shore Path or anything else in the downtown area and also minutes away from Acadia National Park. The place was really clean and had all the basics needed for the week. The owners, Lisa and Rick, made check in easy and were quick to respond to questions. As others have said, this house is a hidden gem in Bar Harbor. I would definitely book again if I ever go...

'Great location to enjoy all that Acadia offers! Well maintained log home in private setting. Everything clean and no odors. Well equipped. Has clean gas grill and oven, gas range, clean bathroom and shower. Great washer dryer in basement which is accessible from outside the house. Comfortable beds. Screens and windows are in great shape so you can enjoy nice breeze. Nearby local markets and takeaways seafood. Would definitely stay here again!'
