'This is a very basic “motel” type of property. Our room overlooked the parking lot with our window directly in front of a parked car We asked to be moved and got a room on the back side facing some greenery but had a passageway for staff hauling noisy laundry carts right outside the window. Hallway rugs are tired and worn. Atmosphere was institutional and soulless. Location is off a round about in the middle of nowhere with poor signage to find the property. 'We stayed at Whitley Coach House to spend a few days in the area before attending a wedding in Frome. Tim and Ginny’s communication was excellent, and they were even kind enough to provide a travel cot last minute as we had ordered one ourselves that we didn’t think would come in time (although it did in the end). The coach house itself was spacious enough for the three of us, with everything one might need for a few days away. '

'We had a lovely one night stay in the cottage. Great for self catering and enjoyed having stables outside where we could see the horses. Lots of space and a nice log fire to enjoy. The breakfast was delivered to the cottage at our chosen time and was really tasty. '

'Located in the beautiful Cotswolds lies this accommodation. Run by incredibly friendly people. Parking was easy. The room we rented was spaciou and well maintained. Especially considering the building is quite old. It’s not a hotel. You’re staying in somebody’s house. Entering through a side entrance, passing eggs for sale. Having to remove your outdoor shoes when going upstairs. It all adds to the experience of what’s it like living there. We had a great time and definitely recommend staying...

'Nydelig sted. Stor hage ( park), flotte trær og planter. Deilig oase med solsenger og svømmebasseng. Nydelig mat, hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening. Flott rom og stor deilig seng. Reiser gjerne tilbake hit.'

'Lovely quiet place to get away from it all. The food is spectacularly good with the menu having a wonderful amount of choice! The shower in our room went cold after only a few minutes (and stayed cold) but that was the only minor negative thing! Otherwise, superb!'

'The Grosvenor Villa is an amazing building with a lovely garden. The Pride and Prejudice room was great, spacious, clean and we loved the extra touches (wine, bath robes). The riverside walk to the centre took about 20 minutes and through Sydney gardens. Breakfast room was unique and the continental breakfast was delicious. The owner Richard was very helpful and friendly and told us lots of interesting facts about the area and the house.'

'An established and historic hotel built of Bath stone just outside Corsham,Wilts off the A4 road to Bath. The grounds of 2/3 acres are beautifully maintained and with a tennis court. Excellent all round'
