'Our stay was very disappointing despite the attractive grounds. Check in told us nothing. Room was not serviced and had a constant buzzing from somewhere. No breakfast chef on second morning so no cooked breakfast. Cold buffet extremely basic. Restaurant not open either night so had to eat out. Felt empty of guests so bar very uninviting.Didn't discover lounge until second day and then water damaged ceiling and a filthy carpet.'

'It is a travesty to call the Wiltshire hotel a spa. We had had a long day travelling and were looking forward to a really nice spa experience. We were given a locker key and a sad towel, no robe. The ladies changing rooms were a disgrace. Broken tiles, grubby floor and a section had been roped off. The pool area was dirty with broken tiles, and mould on the floor tiles. The jacuzzi wasn’t working, neither was the steam room. The hot sauna was good but the pool temperature was on the low side. ...

'Hebben dit hotel gekozen om Bath the bezoeken. Hotel zie er van buiten nostalgisch uit. Is waarschijnlijk vroeger inderdaad als een Inn opgezet. We hadden de family room. Ruimte is voldoende groot. Geen airco. Inrichting is gedateerd en hier en daar sleets. Vitrage voor de ramen waren beschimmeld. Badkamer met bad is aan vervanging toe. Wifi was op de kamer zeer slecht. Na navraag bij de receptie bleek dat er een storing was. In het restaurant kun je redelijk goede gerechten krijgen....
