'The area around Box Hill is beautiful. Some nice little nature areas within strolling distance. Good star-gazing. Staff at the pub were great, as were the locals. Excellent local ciders and ales. 'We had a lovely one night stay in the cottage. Great for self catering and enjoyed having stables outside where we could see the horses. Lots of space and a nice log fire to enjoy. The breakfast was delivered to the cottage at our chosen time and was really tasty. '

'This is a smaller hotel with a homely, personal feel that felt unique compared to larger, more commercial feeling hotel / spa combos that are becoming so common now. We felt very comfortable playing games and having drinks in the evening, enjoying the unique heated outdoor pool and generally relaxing. 'Perfect 10 Year Anniversary Stay! We spent 3 nights at Whatley Manor for our 10 year anniversary and honestly couldn't have asked for better. The suite was spacious, spotless and properly luxurious - plus so peaceful you'd forget you're only an hour from London. The gardens are absolutely stunning, clearly maintained with real care. 'We had a lovely stay at Grosvenor Villa. Richard greeted us at the door and gave us a little bit of history on the property. The room was lovely and clean with nice complimentaries stocked. The villa was about a 30 minute was to the centre, but the walk was lovely along the canal. The breakfast had a good amount of options and Richard happily made us toast and porridge if we wanted it. I would 100% recommend.'
