'We really loved the entire look and feel of the property!! Wow just quiet and secluded enough we didn’t want leave!! Walking to downtown Black mountain was “ alittle” tricky…. But we would come back in a min and recommend to friends!!!!'

'Cate & Mike's place is well equipped and comfortable. It's in a great location, close enough to the interstate, restaurants, locations to hike, etc.'

'Host was helpful in getting in house. There was a hole in basement floor and basement door would not shut all the way which is not real secure .It was very cold and drafty in base bedroom/ karaoke room.Loose rocks on the outdoor fire place that is a safety issue. I feel like it was ok. We enjoyed our time as a family. Just feel like it’s not worth almost 400a night total.'

'The house was easy to get to. Really the only 2 downsides was the noise of the traffic and just didn't seem like the shower got hot enough. It seemed hot enough in the kitchen sink. It worked fine, I just like a nice scalding shower. We really were only there to sleep & shower as we were out exploring each day. It was a nice getaway not far from home.'

'Great cottage with in walking distance to downtown and several local breweries. It was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need and the hostess did a wonderful job of decorating for St.Patricks day. One thing we really liked was how quiet it was at night as the location is kinda tucked away on a side street.
