'This is an exceptional place to stay. The family is very friendly and welcoming, the breakfasts are delicious and excellent quality. The room is well appointed and quiet. We were really well looked after during our visit and we hope to return before too long.'

'we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. 'Absolutely loved Grace! She greeted us upon arrival and was available the entire weekend for our stay. The small staff was exceptional! All very friendly. Accommodations were modern and clean, bed was comfortable. While it wasn’t a bothere to us. Be warned they have live music on weekends so it will be noisy from 9-11p.m. We would stay here again if we were ever to come back to the area.'

'Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x'

'Parking right outside, easy check in, was shown to room. Newly renovated rooms are clean and decor is great. Comfortable beds and bedding. Fresh milk in fridge. Bar area was warm and welcoming, even on a busy December weekend with very well priced drinks. Would 100% stay here again. '
