'Tony was super helpful and easy to communicate with before, during, and after our stay. Couldn’t ask for a better host. The cabin was beautiful, the location was excellent, and our weather was perfect. Only reason for four stars on the description is that we were all just a little disappointed that there wasn’t a hot tub, since the house overview had it marked, but on reading the description more carefully, we saw they were just referring to the bath tub downstairs.'

'The area is beautiful, very quiet and far from the hustle and bustle. Only a few miles from the park entrance and surrounded by nature. The accommodations were wonderful, easy in and out, well appointed kitchen, the large room upstairs was spread out and great for us, the kids and mother in law. Host’s reached out to make sure we didn’t need anything. All around great experience.'

'We had the best stay at this house! It was so welcoming and cozy. When we got there, music was on for us, a basket of snacks on the counter and a bottle of wine. We've never had that anywhere else we've stayed. Shelly and her husband were just the best!! It was my husbands birthday and she made him his favorite cake. Shelly was always available to answer questions. We loved having the deer visit every day and feeding them graham crackers. A first! We were sad to leave. Wonderful house. 💗'

'Beautiful place. Great host. Peaceful home nestled by a beautiful creek. Nice size kitchen to cook in with everything you need. My girls and I were so happy here I actually wish we lived here. The beds are so comfortable. Best night sleep in a long time. Will be making this our vacation spot every year. ❤️'

'We stayed at this great property in Chester over the July 4th weekend. Dianne manages the property, was proactive in her communication with us and a great host overall. The house itself is conveniently located, was clean and well-appointed. Chester is nestled in the mountains, boasts of the picturesque Almanor lake and is also close to Lassen Volcanic National Park making it an ideal location. People were nice and friendly as well. Overall great experience!'

'We absolutely loved our weekend at Rebel's Creek Resort. Such a cozy, welcoming home filled with lots of comforts. Tucked away in the woods with stream by the house. Backyard fence lined with chicken wire so our dogs could explore while outside with us. Roasted marshmallows over firepit. We certainly plan to return again.'

'We stayed 2 nights. Arrived in a snow flurry. The host had heated the place so it was warm and cozy. It is a small apartment above Ron Martin realty. Dianne is the host and is the most kind accommodating person you could hope for. The place has a cabin feel with a living room, 2 bedrooms, a small efficiency kitchen area and a large bath. There are TVs in each bedroom and the living area. the living area has 2 couches and an easy chair. We definitely will stay here again given the opportunity.'

'We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. A good nights sleep is so important on vacation and all the beds were very comfy. We enjoyed a week of quilting, shopping at a great quilt shop in Susanville, visiting breathtaking Mt Lassen Park and Burney Falls. We hope to return next year to explore more of the area.'

'Our group had an excellent stay! Everything was just as described. We enjoyed the hammocks in the backyard, the large selection of games and puzzles, the variety of room setups, and if we hadn’t been so tired from our travels, I’m sure the fire pit was amazing! If you have a baby that is mobile, the stairs are a bit treacherous. I wish we had brought a baby gate but didn’t expect one to be provided. Would definitely stay again!'

'Nice and cozy older home located between Mt. Lassen and Lake Almanor. Good quiet place with spacious bedrooms. It's an older home so don't expect anything fancy, but it has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Owner was very nice a helpful. We'll definitely be returning in the future.'
