'Casa da Fonte is nestled in one of the sweetest villages within Gerês. This place was a good value for price. However, we had major issues with check in. We sent inquiries about check in days before and received no response. We didn’t get our check in information until after the check in time, forcing us to sit in a fierce, cold rain storm. 'I had a very pleasant stay here during my trip to Portugal. The space was very clean, comfortable, and felt safe throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the amenities provided — there was a dishwasher and a washing machine with laundry pods available, which was incredibly convenient because I was able to do my laundry during my trip. The kitchen also had plates, glasses, and pots available for use. The only small downside was that there were no utensils, but this was a very minor issue...

'Biking from Porto to Santiago via Camino with couple of friends and stayed there for a night. Sofia the owner is very friendly and extremely responsive in communication. She and her parents, managing the place, were so helpful waiting for us to let us in and show us the apartment. The apartment is very specious and full of nice amenities. There is grocery store very close and very nice restaurant (Magna) within walking distance.Although Amarosa beach is very close but we had to leave early on...
