'An excellent hotel for a business or pleasure trip. The staff were amazing, calling me by my name each time and every day. I have never experienced this, so hats off to them.
The only downsides, and I am being picky here, for me were 1. the layout of the bathrooms and 2. the music in the bar/restaurant/breakfast room. I found it a bit too much, especially at breakfast where I would prefer to have a quiet environment, and when you hear the same music for 10 days in the evenings, it gets a bit...

When we arrived at the hotel, my partner was also with me and they said upon arrival that it would cost me US$40! per night (the difference between 1 person and 2 persons staying is about $11 per night if you book online). 'The B&B El Olivar was fantastic. The room was clean and well appointed, the location of the B&B was nice, and most of all Joseph was a fantastic host. He was very helpful with recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Joseph even helped us out on our return trip through Lima when we had a very long layover but weren't staying overnight. If you travel to Lima and want to stay in San Isidro, I heartily recommend B&B El Olivar.'
