'My husband and I have been to this VRBO twice and will return. This place is so peaceful and secluded. The sunsets beautiful. To hear the breeze blowing through the leaves on the trees priceless. Jim checked in several times with us. Our sweet Golden Ivy came with too! A little slice of heaven in Hayward.'

It was a 5 day rental to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and to just get away for some relaxation with a bit of fishing tossed in.Our cabin was just as it appeared in the VRBO ad. Very clean and well appointed.We enjoyed being very close to the shopping and eating establishments. 'We had an amazing time! The cabin is gorgeous and well equipped for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the lake and using the canoes! The water is so clear and was very refreshing. Mike was a great host and responded quickly when an issue arose so that it didn’t affect our stay. Would 1000% recommend and hope to one day be back!'

'This is a lovely, spacious, clean get-away. It's located in a nice area to enjoy the Northwoods in any direction. The cabin is well equipped with all the necessities of home, including a comfortable bed.We enjoyed traveling to see the elk at Clam Lake. We saw 3 bears and numerours other wildlife on our travels. 'Awesome cabin. Very cozy, clean and well stocked for anything that you could possibly need. It was also located within walking distance to downtown and the many shops to check out. The hosts were great. They were there for anything you might need. They checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Overall very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend it. '

'This is our 5th time staying here. We have other family on the lake and this place is clean, convenient and everything you could need for a great lake vacation. 'We had a wonderful stay in the Northwoods at the Cabernet Cabin! It's on a great spot on a quiet lake. The cabin is clean and cozy. The owners Kathleen and Steve are very friendly and welcoming. Lots to do and see in the area - it's an easy drive into Hayward for shopping and dining. A great escape from city life!'

'We LOVE staying here!! We have so much fun fishing, shopping, dining out. We have to see the Lumberjack show the next time we stay. It’s Fantastic!! We wish we could have stayed for a couple weeks! Such a beautiful cabin, wonderful jacuzzi! Relaxing and fishing was incredible! We caught close to 100 fish during are 5 day stay. The pontoon is a lot of fun! So relaxing & peaceful!! 'A super cute and cozy cabin that is about a 25 min drive to the Brikie trailhead and downtown Hayward. We came up for the Birkie trail run and were super happy with the location. The owner is really nice and the resort dog, Vincent, is such a sweetheart! The lake is beautiful and the restaurant/bar is a great place to grab a bite to eat. Would stay here again!'
