'Mooi en gezellig hotel. Prachtig uitzicht. Zwembad is niet groot maar wel fijn dat het er is. Goed ontbijt. Aardige mensen. Bij het treinstation maar daar heb je geen last van. VVV en restaurant aan de overkant. '

Een buitenzwembad, ligstoelen bij het zwembad

'Prachtig uitzicht, ligt in een klein dorp. Google maps aanduiding stopt bij ingang dorp. Duidelijker aangeven waar te parkeren en ingang hotel. Wij hebben het lopend gevonden. Uiteindelijk heerlijk verblijf gehad. Samen met andere gasten eten 's avonds was een mogelijkheid en vonden wij leuk. Plons in zwembad na een bezoek aan dorp, Pinhao (met porthuizen)beneden was heerlijk.'

Een bureau, een laptopwerkplek, verduisterende gordijnen

'Hotel dichtbij centrum met geweldig zwembad. Ontbijt goed, zelfs bruin brood! Kamers en bed prima. Tijdens ons verblijf was er een kermis die om 12 uur stil was. Gied restaurant: Tavora, loopbrug over en naar rechts, bovenin bij rotonde.'

'Zalig vertoeven! Ruime, propere kamers. Zicht op de rivier. Uitstekend restaurant, ontbijt werd deels aan tafel bediend en was goed. Het enige aandachtspunt is dat de afstand van de verste kamers tot receptie / restaurant behoorlijk ver is. Als je met oudere personen op stap bent, best hiermee rekening houden.'

'Absolutely beautiful location in the Douro Valley. The views from any location on the property are postcard views. The staff is very accommodating and attentive. Overall one of the most serene and tranquil places we visited in Portugal.'

'Amazing and very cosy hotel. It only has 3 rooms but that is the charme of this hotel. In return you have a very relaxed morning with a good breakfast. They use fresh ingredients for the breakfast and they don't use sugar. The thing I liked the most (and I think that is also the nr1 reason to book here) is the amazing view over the Douro valley. Marco and his wife Ana are very friendly and helpful. They also offer a great full day tour in the Douro valley with amazing lunch! I would recommend...

'Quinta do Pego has been recently refurbished (rebuild?) by a Danish company and offers a fantastic experience in the Douro Valley. The Quinta is small (only 10 rooms) and excels in personal attention: no matter where you are in the hotel and at what time, you will be able to order a drink or a bite. And when you enter your room for the first time, a great port surprise awaits you! The infinity pool is a great place to relax, but there are also walks through the grape ranks which you undertake at...

'Zeer mooi gelegen hotel met ruime kamer, groot bed en ruime badkamer. De hele quinta ziet er prachtig uit en het eten, zowel ontbijt als diner zijn super goed. Je kan een mooie wandeling maken door de wijngaarden en genieten van de uitzichten. Enige punt van kritiek is de aandacht van het personeel. Dat is vrij functioneel. Soms vergeten ze dat ze je in hotel verblijft, wat de hele tijd tot ongemakkelijke gesprekjes leidde. Iets minder stijf en ingestudeerd zou de sfeer meteen wat meer welkom...
