'The food options were great, plenty of things to do in the area. We were able to take a 10 minute walk to the downtown area. The only down side was the two days we were there the pool was filled with little kids (have kids and love them very much) just thought it would be a calmer pool experience at the roost. 'It was a great place to stay just 3 or so blocks from the beach. The Bungalow is an upstairs 1 bedroom apartment style vacation home. Downstairs is another unit called the bunkhouse. There is also a short term rental home. We all shared the beautiful grounds and had a great time hanging out with the other renters. There is ample parking in a quiet neighborhood. 'This 2nd time we have stayed here as we again enjoyed it .Had a little confusion on the exact room we were to have ..but the Absolute Charm & Mara corrected it .Only suggestion is to have more trash cans available.Great View of the Mississippi River ..Very enjoyable '

'We are sorry to say that our stay was not as we had hoped for. Everything looked much more clean and fresh on the add pictures than in reality. On top we found a dead frog in the windowsill behind the bed and a cockroach walking out of the bathroom. The R&B is big and has great potential but needs TLC and a refreshment, repair of damaged '

'We stayed in the Carriage House, which despite being very old did have modern facilities. The air conditioning and shower were very good. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. It was good to have the option to stream films on the TV. We were sent an email from our host with instructions to access the property and park which also gave good recommendations to local restaurants and attractions.'

'Perfect getaway! Such a great location and beautiful home. Loved the view of the river. The sunsets were so pretty. The walking trail sidewalk is so nice and safe even at night. We enjoyed walking on the scenic trail to eat. We would definitely stay again! '

'Front bedroom provides spectacular view of the Mississippi. You’ll never get tired of that view. As you sleep in the queen size bed the Mississippi is right there before you the tug boats, the river traffic. Makes it tough to get out of bed frankly. Room was clean efficient. Bathroom was large. Could not have been happier. Did I mention the view. Management is right there in town to help if necessary. They also suggested things to do. I would limit visits to famous milk shake stand where...

'The moment you walk inside you know this is a special home away from home. Original artwork hangs on the walls. The decor is quirky. Old, repurposed wood, and exposed supports add architectural flair. Fully equiped kitchen, comfortable bed, big closet, thick towels. A wall of windows provides natural light for this first floor suite. The quiet, walkable neighborhood is 10 minutes from downtown Jackson. The host responds quickly.'
