Gentle Annie's strandcabine

The Beach Cabin, gelegen onder het subtropische bos, heeft een uitzicht op de zee met slechts een paar minuten lopen naar het strand. De privé, beschutte locatie maakt het een geweldige plek om te ontspannen en weg te komen van alles. De open woonkamer / keuken van de hutten is comfortabel ingericht en goed uitgerust.

Onze duizend hectare grote eigendom ligt in een omgeving waar Aotearoa is zoals het vroeger was - weelderig, ongerept en natuurlijk. Een stukje paradijs. Gentle Annie is een ideale plek om buiten de gebaande paden te komen om de ongetemde wildernis van Nieuw-Zeeland te ervaren en de westkust van het Zuidereiland echt te waarderen. Grenzend aan de Tasmanzee, de machtige Mokihinui-rivier en de prachtige oude bush, is onze accommodatie aan zee een rustige plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van de tijd weg van het drukke leven en biedt een uitstekende uitvalsbasis om onze prachtige regio te verkennen. Slechts 10 km van de Old Ghost Road Northern Trailhead in Seddonville!

Gentle Annie is centraal gelegen aan de noordwestkust, in de buurt van bezienswaardigheden waar dagtochten u naar het noorden brengen naar de prachtige Oparara Limestone Arches, het Kahurangi National Park, de Heaphy Track en het zuiden naar de Chasm Creek en Charming Creek Walkways, Punakaiki Pancake Rotsen, het Denniston-plateau en de zeehondenkolonie Cape Foulwind. We staan voor de deur van de nieuwe mountainbikeroute Old Ghost Road!

Geniet in elk seizoen van Gentle Annie. Het zal je ziel voeden en je zintuigen wakker maken.

Week in paradise

We had a fantastic time. The cabin is basic but comfortable. The ocean is a very short walk and we spent a lot of time there. We also hired a hot tub which was delivered to the cabin so we spent the nights looking at the incredible stars.

Lovely cabin

Was a lovely cabin to stay in. So close to the beach and away from the other people. Didn’t have to worry about the dogs making too much noise. Everyone was lovely to deal with. Even let me get a drink and ice cream when they were closing the shop at 6pm. There was a sign in the cabin saying they were open till 8pm might need to update that if the shop closes at 6pm but was a lovely place. Thanks.

A location like no other

What a privilege to spend time in such an unspoilt natural environment yet have complete comfort. Great if like us you love wild NZ but are not campers. The house is warm (good heating) and full of character. Private except for cheeky weka in the garden, sounds of the sea and birds. Magic.

Best accommondation ever. It was so so nice there! We really enjoyed it there from the first moment on! It is in such a good place, directly on the beach where you are all by your own most of the time. And its very quite there. It has a very nice garden and the house is in such a good state and really well maintained. Its very comfort with all the nice wood and all the windows. Its very bright. The people on the campingground, which is a 10 minute walk away from the house, are very friendly. First we were in a little shock because the fridge in the kitchen is very small. But there is a second big one in another room, behind the house. We didnt see the note at the fridge AT first. In this extra room is also a washing machine. The kitchen has everything you needed, there is also a Weber Grill outside. The bathroom is a little bit small and a little old. But it was ok! The sofas in the livingroom are not that comfortable, but are okay. But the beds are comfortable! From the bedrooms and the livingroom out you have a really great view at the garden and the beach! Everything was very clean! It was awesome there!

Very easy area to play safely with our dog Suki. Great to have hooks to hang things on, bug screens on the windows and a composting bucket, those small things that are often missing. The view from the kitchen and bathrooms are also lovely.

Best place for a wedding!

We had an awesome 4 days at the Beach Cabin along with our 2 dogs. We loved the Bach, the wood floor was great for the dogs, plenty of hot water in the shower and a good gas fired heater. Make sure you hire one of the hot tubs and enjoy the amazing sunsets. We were married on the beach so a pretty special place for us, we will definitely be back!!

This place is idyllic - low key kiwi bach in amazing location. Very clean and simple bach which we adored. Extremely friendly hosts in nearby cafe with delicious home baking and great coffee! West Coast landscapes are stunning.
