'Front desk were always smiling and attentive. The room was beautiful and the lobby is lively. The atmosphere truly speaks to me, relax you’re in Hawai’i!'

'Super cute one bedroom mini apartment. My husband and I both thought the bed was really comfortable. We both slept great. The communication was top-notch when I needed assistance. Instructions on how to get into the property confused me a smidgen but I'm new to using VRBO. I wish the Wi-Fi would have worked in the unit. That was my only frustration but everything else I thought was well worth the price.'

'Our stay at The Makaha Shaka! was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful, peaceful, and well‑kept the property was. The villa is exactly as pictured, spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail clearly created to make guests feel at home. The outdoor space is a dream. Waking up to mountain views, relaxing in the lounge area, and enjoying the pool and hot tub made every day feel like a private resort experience. The...

'Beautiful house in a beautiful community! It had everything we needed to enjoy our week-long visit. Our hosts were very helpful and on top of everything.'

'This home was absolutely amazing! It is in Makaha Valley which is tucked away in the mountain. We had a view of the mountain and the ocean. The house is warm and inviting. It is bright and decorated so amazing. They have so much stuff available for you, we absolutely loved our stay. The AC units were a huge plus because it was very warm. The pool is amazing and so is the gym! We used both. The neighborhood is active and everyone is friendly and kind. The house was clean and bug free. It is well...

'Heavily overpriced for the quality you get (on food and beverages). Also paying for beach chairs etc. Hotel is nice and we enjoyed the installation but food and beverages were very basic while all charged on premium rates. Also very high fees to rent beach equipment which in my point of view is outrageous. We have much better experiences in Hawaii concerning that so definitively something to improve. No problem to pay a price but you expect something in return which we didn't feel at all. '

'Kerstan was very helpful and great communications from the very start! Our family loved the home, security of being in a gated community but also in the center of a great local community. The house was spacious with awesome scenic views. Clean and had some useful amenities like snorkeling masks, boogie boards and more! We had a great week! Mahalo Kerstan!'

'We had a great time at the stay. Clean and well maintained condo. Communication was excellent. Check in was smooth and appreciate the free parking right in front of the condo. Would stay again.'
