Everything needed was at the accomodation, but mainly dined out in the numerous cafe/bar restaurants . Property tastefully decorated with large windows allowing streams of light in. "We 4 retired ladies from the USA enjoyed our 12 night stay in this apartment. The location was great. We could easily walk to the main squares, the canals, the museums and good restaurants. We were in a quiet neighborhood. A grocery store was nearby. We appreciated having a washer and a dryer. Katrien was a gracious hostess and got us wonderful seats for the Procession of the Holy Blood, a parade held in May. Katrien promptly replied to text messages and helped us with taxi service. I recommend...

"Great quiet location a few minutes walk from the city centre. You can walk to pretty much everything. We got an uber from the station (€13) but walked everywhere else. A few bars and restaurants nearby. House has everything you need including chair and tables on a balcony. Warning … stairs are very steep and are not suitable for young children, older people of anyone with mobility issues. Communication with host was great. We loved Bruges and the Nest was a great base."

"It's possible that I should have read the description more closely, but I was expected a private villa, perhaps behind the host's home? That's not the case. You are staying in a semi-private part of someone's home with them. It is a beautiful home, and the owners were very nice. Still, I was thrown at first after an exhausting day of travel - so just be aware. It was nice to have bikes available to us, but know none are kid-sized and they're not in the best of shape. Still, it was fun to ride...

"Wie hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist gemütlich und hat alles, was man braucht. Es liegt leider an einer stark befahrenen Strasse, aber dafür gibt es reichlich Ohrstöpsel wenn es einen im Schlaf stört. Es ist alles gut erreichbar und im Garten konnten die Kinder laufen und spielen. Vielen Dank für die Vorbereitung des Babybettchens und die nette Kommunikation."

"Schöne Unterkunft (wir hatten einen Bungalow/Mobilhome mit seeblick. Um den See kann man gut laufen/joggen. Man darf nicht darin schwimmen oder stand-up-paddeln. Die Anlage ist sehr ruhig. Das nebenanliegende Freibad mit Liegewiese darf man umsonst nutzen. Das Bad ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber zum Baden voll in Ordnung. Toller Ausgangspunkt um mit dem Fahrrad Ausflüge zu machen oder mit dem Auto auch mal an Strand fahren."

In einer steht: "Schlüsselkasten am Haus". (aber da ist gar keiner) in einer anderen steht "Schlüsselkasten an der Rezeption" aber da war der Schlüssel nicht, denn der Ferienparkt besteht aus 2 Pakrs mit 2 Rezeptionen. Wenn man im Dunkeln anreist kann man das nicht erkennen und so standen wir vor der falschen Rezeption,...

"Wir haben Anfang Mai einige schöne Tage in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht. Vor kurzem saniert und sehr geschmackvoll mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Moderne Dusche & WC. Sehr umfangreiche Küchenausstattung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Nieuwvliet bietet einen breiten und abwechslungreichen Sandstrand. Eine ideale Basis für Ausflüge die Küste hinauf oder nach Brügge (nur 37km) und Gent (ca. 1 Stunde). Wir kommen bestimmt gerne wieder."
