'We had a lovely holiday in the villa. The house is very big, the bedrooms are large and the beds were comfortable. The pool is very big and luxurious, with enough shade from the parasols. The surroundings were quiet, we had lovely views of the hills and were quite close (30 min drive) to multiple beaches. The nearest shops are 10-15 minutes away by car, which was very handy. A minor warning though: the water comes from an artesian well and contains iron and sulphur, which takes some getting...

'Een huis voorzien van alle gemakken. Een zeer comfortabel, schoon authentiek Portugees huis waar alles in zit wat je nodig hebt. Je hebt wel een auto nodig omdat er niets op loopafstand is. Fantastisch zwembad. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.'

'We loved Burgau. The VRBO was great for us. It was a little hard to find. That was the only difficulty. The apartment had what we needed. It was right across the street from 2 restaurants. We loved the view from the upstairs balcony. We would gladly stay here again. It was great for the two of us. It would be tight for any more than 3 or so. '

'This location is great, beautiful garden for peace and quiet. Several seating areas around the house. You don't have to leave, you have everything you need here. You do need a car, groceries, etc., but everything is within reach of 10 minutes to 30 minutes. Environment is beautiful. The owners are wonderful people Paul and Wendy. 'This cabin is super cute and located in the slow village. The antique furnishings were beautiful. We were able to walk to the restaurant and pizza place, and our kids walked down the street to see the chickens many times. The restaurant was really yummy (chocolate mousse with salt) and the pizza place was just average and only took euros. The only thing I would wish for is a fan. It got warm upstairs at night, and we could not leave the windows open because mosquitoes would get in. The bbq area...
