"Beautiful property and ideal for a family or a group of friends. Very peaceful and the location is great for exploring the region. Pool is a nice edition and the outside eating areas are a good size. The hosts are fantastic and will help with any queries you have and give plenty of advice regarding things to see and do. The owners were really helpful and communicative, they went out of their way to help us with things for our baby and we’re always very friendly when we saw them near the property. "Grande maison ancienne en pierres partagée en 2 gîtes. Notre gîte était grand et fonctionnel. Au calme. Loin de l'agitation de la vallée de la Dordogne. Visite d'un chevreuil le matin :-). Barbecue à la guinguette dans le pré d'en face le lundi et jeudi en saison (très bon). Propriétaires très sympatiques (merci pour la gentille attention sucrée à notre arrivée)."

"We have stayed in a number of Gites in the Dordogne for a number of years now but this one is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. The location being 10 minutes drive to Bergerac airport and within easy access to the Bastide towns makes it an ideal base to explore the area. The property has everything you need and the manager, Chrystelle was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return to Fontoursine again in future"

"Peaceful location but attractions conveniently close. Most reviews cover the spring/summer period but this was a great place for Christmas with friends who live in France. Regis and Marie Claire are very friendly, close if any help is needed but not intrusive. It made a memorable visit."

"Lovely cosy farmhouse in a great location. Hot tub was a bonus. Perfect for up to 4 people, but anymore may be a tight fit if weather not good and you were not able to use the outside space. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Saint Avit Senieur. Would recommend."

"The location is excellent and the surrounding countryside is beauriful. We used the eurotunnel so its quite q srive to tye property but worth it. The amenities were as described qnd we used all of them all of the time. Once you gettoknow the area it is quite easy to pick up provisions. I would use again as it comfortably accommodates a group of 8 plus 2 dogs."

"Cottage très sympa et extérieur au top au calme avec piscine privé. En revanche gros bémol sur le ménage qui laissait franchement à désirer (on a renettoyé en arrivant) et sur les équipement de cuisine. ça peut paraitre un détail mais la quasi totalité des verres à vin sont ébréchés, et pas de couteau convenable pour cuisiner. Hormis c'est 2 point d'amélioration nous avons passé un très bon séjour"

“Slice of Paradise”
"My sister and myself just had the “experience of our lives” living in Issigeac for two weeks and enjoying the 200 Year Old Stone House. So glad we met Lee-Anne who told us about the house and the VRBO site. We were instantly enchanted with the village and each day we met more friends and cherished more memories. It is a warm and cozy village and the house is so authentic and inviting. Our days were spent touring the lovely countryside and coming back to “our paradise “ relaxing in the lovely yard and dining at the restaurants in town. We had tears in our “eyes as we said Au Revoir”” to our friends and village life. We will be back someday as our karma found this paradise and Lee-Anne.💕"
