'This was my 3rd or 4th stay here, and my favorite spot in all of Maine. Even on a rainy or snowy day, it’s gorgeous. This is an older home with lots of charm, the most breathtaking views of the harbor, and everything you could need to enjoy time here indoors or out. I almost hate to add photos, as it will drive demand for this spot even higher. It’s just a stunningly beautiful space and it’s very hard to leave!'

'Our stay was fabulous! This 3rd floor apt was so well decorated and so clean, plus it came with a view we absolutely loved! The location, in the very heart of Boothbay Harbor, could not have been better. Little shops and great restaurants lined the streets, Our hosts, Mark and Patty could be reached in person or by text at any time. They were wonderful hosts. We rate our experience a 10 out of 10 and hope to go back!'

'As advertised, except for the "walking distance to downtown." It's over a mile, no sidewalks, very hilly bendy road, difficult for cars and the plethora of work trucks to see you. We had some elderly folks planning to stroll into town, but that was a hard no. Maybe ok if you're young and active, but certainly don't plan on safely walking home at night. Otherwise, a pleasant old place. '

'We've been staying in Maine for over a decade. They have a lovely property that has great views, easy trails and a nice beach. The house was perfect for a family of four to six and allows pets. Everything was wonderful!!!!'

'These hosts are to be commended. This cozy cottage is a real gem. Thoughtfully decorated and equipped with everything needed. Beautiful views, sitting by the firepit watching the wildlife, sunsets and lobster boats come and go. Very peaceful. Looking forward to returning.'

'What a beautiful location! We spent 5 nights here and would loved to have stayed longer. This was our first trip to Maine so I had plans to do several day trips while based in Boothbay. 'The house is exactly what you see in the pictures and more! We had a wonderfull stay and hope to return one day. The view is incredible and the house was amazingly cool for the warm time of year. We were very comfortable. Martin and Becky are the most friendly and lovely hosts we have ever encountered. They were just amazing. And Becky's muffins are delicious! We had an amazing time.'
