'Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport'

'This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place.'

'The property is well furnished and very clean. It has all the equipment that is needed, and we were treated to a welcome gift which was lovely (no spoilers). It is very close to a general stores shop and a lovely fish & chip shop We enjoyed our stay and Bridport is a great place.'

'A beautiful, idyllic place to gather and share family memories. There were eleven family members with five more joining us for meals over the course of three days. The property and house were spacious and comfortable, with more than enough supplies to set a table and serve sixteen family members multiple meals with ease. 'Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. '

'Nice, comfortable and very quiet cottage, clean and well equipped. For our family it was ideal as a base for trips to Lyme Regis, or some nice hikes in the surrounding area. A few (car) min outside the village, beautifully located. Small downside is the limited space for storage.'
