He did all of those things without being overbearing or intrusive. My girlfriend and I both agreed he was a concierge par excellence. Truly an example to the rest of the industry. Wij hadden een kamer met 2 queensize bedden en een slaapbank. Helaas bleek de slaapbank nog gedekt te zijn met lakens van de vorige gasten, maar dat werd heel snel opgelost met een telefoontje naar de receptie.
Openbaar vervoer naar NY is wat lastig maar verder een perfect en betaalbaar hotel met zeer vriendelijke mensen."
"It’s 15 minutes walking from Woodside station. Line 7 is a very good line it goes all the way to Hudson Yards and passes important stations.
Hotel Queens is ok for a to visit New York. Near the station there’s a lot of small restaurants. The hotel has a small breakfest toast jelly good coffee and tea.
It’s a really pitey that one could use the microwave only at breakfasttime. "

"Nette kamers met goede bedden. Als je ook gebruik maakt van de slaapbank, wordt deze niet opgemaakt bij aankomst. Dat moet je zelf doen. Ook tijdens het verblijf wordt hier geen aandacht aan geschonken. Het ‘gewone’ bed wordt wel elke dag opgemaakt en ook dagelijks schone handdoeken.
De ontbijtruimte is te klein voor het aantal gasten. Na het ontbijt lange rijen bij de lift..

Where lot of people who live there specially in the evening are smoking weed, hanging arround. They dont bother you if you just mind your business. But i think if you are a woman alone it could feel unsave. "
"The accommodation was really dirty. The first thing I saw when I walked in the room was a cockroach on the curtain of the bathroom. The bathroom was so dirty. The bed looked clean, but the room was on the streetside so very noisy. I didn’t stay in the hotel because of the dirtyness. There was no elevator, so we had to drag our luggages up the stairs"
