'If you are looking for a secluded, quiet Tuscany villa, don't hesitate to book Le Anfore. The grounds are gorgeous, our room was very clean with good air conditioning and plenty of towels. We even discovered a mini fridge on the second day tucked into the tv cabinet. Breakfast included freshly baked (filled) croissants, muffins, hard boiled eggs, fruit, meats, cheese, yogurt and a few other things. Just enough to get you going for the day. 'Exceptionally beautiful and well-maintained domain with lots of greenery. Food and wine (produced by the estate itself!) were truly excellent. Quiet and peaceful ambiance, very friendly staff. Easy to reach, close to the A1 motorway. Rooms were a little dated, but comfortable and very well maintained. Close to some beautiful nature areas and lovely Tuscan villages. Siena and Perugia are also very easy to reach.'

Had to call multiple numbers before I found someone to check me in. Waited a while. Clerk didn’t speak English so didn’t help much with concierge info (American owners aren’t on site). Maids noisy early in morning. Can’t get taxis so had to pay driver 35€ every time to Orvieto. (Funicular not working!)'
