'Exceptionally beautiful and well-maintained domain with lots of greenery. Food and wine (produced by the estate itself!) were truly excellent. Quiet and peaceful ambiance, very friendly staff. Easy to reach, close to the A1 motorway. Rooms were a little dated, but comfortable and very well maintained. Close to some beautiful nature areas and lovely Tuscan villages. Siena and Perugia are also very easy to reach.'

We even discovered a mini fridge on the second day tucked into the tv cabinet. 'Beautiful setting and redone gated farmhouse opposite Orvieto. Nice continental breakfast with view (but ants!). Simple dinner available. Had to call multiple numbers before I found someone to check me in. Waited a while. Clerk didn’t speak English so didn’t help much with concierge info (American owners aren’t on site). Maids noisy early in morning. Can’t get taxis so had to pay driver 35€ every time to Orvieto. (Funicular not working!)'
