Dit strandachtige verblijf heeft een moderne, smaakvolle inrichting met lichte kleuren en alle voorzieningen die u nodig heeft om tijdens uw verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te zijn. Geniet van uw koffie in de ochtend terwijl u de Stille Oceaan bewondert via de erkers van het huis en voel de zeebries van het grote dek.

Perfect house for a coastal getaway on a great location!

This house is just perfect! My family and I were there for a long weekend and found everything we could have needed there, and the location is great - you can even walk to the Aquarium! The place is clean, beautifully decorated. Tina was also extremely communicative and kept us in-the-know of everything and responded extremely quickly to my question. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Monterey.

Perfect for our trip

Thank you Tina for everything! We stayed for 9 nights and you made our stay wonderful. The house worked out great and all the nice, little touches you did to make our stay comforting was well noticed. Clean, comforting, all the amenities you need, great location to walk to many stores and restaurants. Appreciate all the communication and fast responses. We want to lock this place in again for next year's trip.

Great location overlooking Monterey Bay

Very clean and comfortable home for my family vacation. We have 8 adults and 2 babies/toddlers and there is adequate sleeping space in the 4 bedrooms, 1 queen, 1 double, 2 twins (trundle setup) and twin plus inflatable mattress in the fourth bedroom. Great location with a fantastic view overlooking Monterey Bay and walking distance to the aquarium and Cannery row. Communication with Tina, the owner, is excellent. The driveway is steep but easy to park the car. Adequate parking on the street for the other 2 cars. The bedrooms, except the one with the queen bed, have skylights which allows plenty of sunlight. The only issue is when the sunshine at dawn wakes you up. I would highly recommend this home and would stay again in the future.

Positives: location, value, quiet, clean, spacious, view, TV reception, WIFI, amenities, communication with Tina (owner). Just being picky here but would improve the stay: install garbage disposal in kitchen sink, improve water pressure in kitchen, the portable dishwasher is awkward, replace the house rules binder (torn, worn and actually can hurt someone as the edges are sharp), the backyard patio when sitting the chairs sink into the dirt - put a harder surface there. Skylights in the bedrooms could use shades. Overall: would return

Clean and spacious property with beautiful ocean views

7 of us stayed at this beautiful place for 2 nights. The house has beautiful sweeping ocean views and the fireplace in the front room provides a great ambience at night. The owner leaves instructions around everything and even season passes to monterey aquarium for you to use while you stay there! Two of the four bedrooms have proper double beds. one of the remaining two has a bed that expands to accommodate 2 people at different levels and the last one has a single bed. Overall a great experience!

Perfect location

It was within walking distance to Aquarium, Bike Rentals, Restaurants and Spa. Very clean and comfortable. The passes to the Aquarium were a nice bonus. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Wonderful View on Quiet Street within Walking Distance of Waterfront

We were a group of 7 retirees and needed to locate a reasonably priced house large enough to accommodate us. We were happy to find this property which is located in a residential neighborhood in which the houses are fairly close to one another. The area, however, was very quiet. We were surprised to observe a deer or elk quietly promenading down the street in front of our house one day. Although it is in walking distance of the waterfront, be prepared for a steep walk back uphill to get back to the house. The unit itself had everything we needed, i.e. appliances, etc.; although it took us awhile to assign bedrooms as the house is rather strangely divided and some of the bedrooms can have too much light in the morning due to overhead ceiling windows, but our group adapted quickly. We always parking in front of the house on the street as the driveway is much too steep and narrow. It was just more convenient and not a problem. Tina, the owner/manager seems to take great pride in her property and was actually cleaning up from the prior renters before we arrived. She usually texts messages which we also found helpful, although she also made herself available by phone. The price was good for the area and the feeling for a group or large family would certainly be more reasonable and comfortable than a hotel. We had a great stay.

Great location

We had a great stay at this home in Monterey. The owner is so nice and was in touch with us before and throughout the stay to make sure we had everything we needed. They left a few snacks for us upon arrival as well. The home is clean and well-appointed, with everything that we needed. The location is great -- due to hills (and young kids), we still had to drive everywhere, but you're minutes from the beach, the Aquarium, restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend pizza from Gianni's -- so good! I'd say the only downfall was that the room with the single bed with trundle has a skylight that lets in a ton of light. They do leave eye masks but our two year olds were too young to keep those on and weren't able to nap at all in that room during the day (we just moved them to the master for naps), and were up early in the morning. I think an adult could manage better. Worked great for 2 families with 2 kids each; it's nice how it's kind of separated so each family has some privacy. Would definitely stay here again.

Home away from Home perfect for family holiday reunion

After our parents passed away and our childhood home was sold a couple years ago, my two sisters and I had nowhere big enough for our families to all meet up for the holidays, so we decided to gather this year in Monterey. This cozy, comfy home, with a large kitchen, and windows offering a view of Monterey Bay was perfect for the nine of us (6 adults and 3 kids). The four bedrooms and two bathrooms, divided by two hallways, provided enough space and sound barriers that we didn't go crazy spending six nights together under one roof. With two queens, three twins, plus a queen hide-a-bed in the living room, the size is perfect for two families, or three with young children. (We moved the queen mattress from the hide-a-bed in the living room into a bedroom with a twin, so that the parents could be near their 4 year old, and the couch could stay a couch.) The kitchen is well appointed, and the friendly owner was always available by text message whenever questions came up (such as "where do I find the toaster?"). When we asked if we could put up a small Christmas tree, the owner was delighted and sent us photos of the large fireplace mantle where it could go. The house has all the amenities you might need to make your vacation comfortable, whether high tech or low tech, from wi fi that worked in every room (though a bit slow in the trundle bed room) to a basket of sand toys. The location is convenient, a pleasant walking distance from the Monterey Aquarium and Cannery Row, and there is plenty of on-street parking. I thought we might run out of things to do with 5 days in Monterey, but we didn't! There's the Aquarium, monarch butterflies, fantastic beaches, 17 mile drive (and great beaches to stop off along the way), shops in Carmel, Fisherman's wharf, the Dennis the Menace Playground for the 4 year old, and a hike in Big Sur for the older kids. We could have used an extra day to fit in horseback riding at Pebble Beach or a bike ride along the waterfront. When we first arrived on December 23, I had a moment of doubt, wondering why we had rushed to pack and open the bulky presents before leaving home, only to come make a big holiday feast in some strange kitchen, where I couldn't even find a carrot peeler (it was there; I just had to look). But once everyone arrived, and the kitchen was stocked, and the little tree up and decorated on the mantle, we were at home!

Wish it was my home, so great!

We had never gone through a rental agency before. It was great. The pictures on the computer really showed a lot. Our vacation weekend was wonderful. All of my family was there for my 81st birthday. There was no problem with sleeping arrangements. The beds were comfortable and the home was decorated beautiful. When we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and the owner, Tina, made us feel at home. The home was well stocked with everything. Upon arrival we knew we were going to have a special time. Everything to see was within walking distance, or a short drive. The variety of restaurants and the aquarium were close-by. It was so peaceful to just sit and read a book and look at the beautiful view. Thank you for everything. We would like to rent it again some time in the future.
