  • Op het strand in Monterey! Geniet van een prachtig uitzicht op de baai, waaronder Cannery Row en Fisherman's Wharf, plus een moderne keuken en eethoek, een terras en een patio in de achtertuin met een barbecue.
    Dit huis beschikt over een volledig uitgerust entertainment-3 televisies, 3 dvd-spelers, een cd-speler en een iPod dock.  De volledig uitgeruste keuken beschikt over een Nespresso-machine (en gratis capsules).
    Drie nautisch ingerichte slaapkamers vormen een aanvulling op de locatie van dit paradijs aan het strand: een Cal-King, een koningin en twee tweelingen, plus een loft met vier aparte bedden. LET OP: de slaapkamer op de vliering is alleen toegankelijk via een smal schuiftrapje (zie foto). Bespreek met iemand die van plan is te slapen op de zolderkamer of dit een mogelijk probleem met de veiligheid of de toegang kan vormen.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Tides In. Our only complaint is that several windows didn't open and/or there were no screens on them to keep open when the bugs appeared.

We enjoyed this lovely home in 2014. We returned this year to find a beautiful, renovated home. New wood flooring and carpet were evident. Highway access is superb, Carmel and Pacific Grove are minutes away. Only downside, the beach is very popular with locals. Weekend traffic can be busy.

August in Paradise

Wanting to escape the heat of the August desert, we always head towards Monterey. The ambiance of the area, coupled with the nicest accommodations ever experienced there, we booked the month with Tides Inn. The house was situated on the first row of Del Monte Beach. The home was clean, all of the appliances were fully functional and the whales treated us to so many evening shows, as we enjoyed the sunsets. The garage was a very pleasant accoutrement. The chairs, beach chairs, etc. added to the joy. Yes, there were a couple of changes that would be nice, such as updating the washer/dryer to handle the wonderful blankets, etc that required washing at a nearby coin operated laundry. But none would prevent our returning next season. Michelle, our representative, was very attentive to our needs. We’re looking forward to next season already!!’

Cleanliness poor, needs renovation, accommodations mis represented, great location

When we arrived at 120 Tide it was obvious it had not been cleaned. The sheets on some of the beds were slept in, there were old washed towels in the washer, there was no toilet paper, soap , or any supplies in the bathrooms to get started with, and tons of left over food in the fridge. Not a good beginning to our stay. The management company and cleaning company worked with us and gave us a free cleaning to compensate, but it didn’t set a good tone for the beginning of our stay. The property advertises four bedrooms, but beware. One of the bedrooms is a an attic remodel that is accessed by aluminum fold up stairs. Any adult over twenty who would need to come down those stairs in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom would take their life in their hands. Consider it a three bedroom unit unless you have young children who love going up and down stairs for fun and living in an attic that is open to the living area below. The unit is in a great location and right across the street from the beach, but there is lots of action every day and night from beach goers. Lots of good people watching.

The perfect family vacation home.

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at the Tides In property. Every detail was well thought out. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and plenty of towels, etc. There were Beach chairs and beach towels provided. We had a group of 8 people and this house was perfect for our group. Now, let's talk about the location. Right on Del Monte beach. The ONLY negative would be the beach traffic on the street, but the view from the living room, kitchen and deck is gorgeous and makes it worth the extra traffic. Close proximity to everything we wanted to do. Easy driving distance (except for some traffic) to Fisherman's Wharf, the aquarium, Cannery Row, Pebble Beach, Carmel, etc. We highly recommend this property for your vacation. You won't regret it.
