'My mother and I were visiting the area and are so happy we found this listing. The house was close to everything, well equipped, very clean and roomy. There was a very nice outdoor area as well, unfortunately it was too chilly for us to enjoy. The Host was great with commutation- quick to reply to any questions we had. Would definitely rent again if I am back in the area. '

'We spent two nights here as a family while visiting the area in March of 2025. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, close to a grocery store and restaurants. Easy drive to Monterey or other nearby areas in the Salinas valley. Although the house itself is small (a “casita” after all) the 3 bedrooms are surprisingly large and even have closets (plus one has a half bath). The backyard is enchanting and relaxing. Grace is an excellent and thoughtful host and everything was in order when we arrived....

'This was an easy-highway access location that allowed us to easily see Monterey and Santa Cruz. We unexpectedly also enjoyed the town of Marina: the dunes and cafes and their library’s playground and garden. Very cool little spot!'

'It was a georgeous weekend in Monterey! We took the kids to the Aquarium, enjoyed the beach, walked through the Butterfly habitat all without jackets! The home was clean and well appointed. The kids loved the playground in the back yard, and the toys in the closet. The home is centrally located in a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants nearby. Would definitely return!'

'We had a great time in Monterey. The house is clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Easy to connect with property owners; great communication. The house is near stores and about 15 minutes to the Aquarium. We brought the family and the house had plenty of space for all of us. If you are looking for a quiet comfortable stay this is the place. '

'This place had everything we needed. There was a little hiccup in the beginning. But everything worked out perfectly well. The play area was great for the kids. There was plenty of room for us all. The accommodations were wonderful. Sean and Wendy were awesome hosts. Will definitely keep this on our list of places to stay. Thank you for everything!'

'We were very cozy in the house, beds were comfy, good stock of utensils, cups, plates, beach towels, patio furniture. Within walking distance of everything- Lover's Point, Museum a Natural History, Lighthouse Blvd, nice Farmer's Market on Mondays. The Salty Seaman carving on porch surprised me everytime!'

'The home was absolutely beautiful. It’s directly on 101 so you cannot walk from house to Carmel. Also it’s very loud with all the traffic even with new windows. We had so much trouble getting into driveway coming in from Carmel due to traffic we usually went past house and turned around and waited in traffic. If bringing a dog there are holes in fence and fence is in bad shape. Also as others have mentioned house really needs more dishes. No bowls to mix a salad. Missing essentials most homes...
