'Very nice property very clean uncomfortable. Three adult couples were very comfortable there since we each had our own bathrooms. We all slept well on the comfortable beds. The bedroom nearest the kitchen and the garage was a bit chilly and we were not able to raise the heat. Also, in that bedroom there were some ants. Other than that, we had a lovely stay and I would recommend this space for three couples or a family of six.'

'Julia's house was a great home base for our weekend getaway and Big Sur Marathon. Kitchen was well stocked and the rest of the house was spacious and comfortable. The driveway is very steep and narrow, which would be good to know ahead of time if you have a low vehicle or one with a trailer hitch like ours!'

'We drove to Sweet Pea, parked right in front of the house, and walked everywhere (including the Aquarium). The accommodations were spotless, we had everything we needed to prepare meals, and we slept soundly. During some windy periods the screens rattled a wee bit, but those were the only interruptions to our serenity. We would definitely return.'

'House is woefully in need of many minor repairs. Wall sockets in bedrooms need to be replaced. Most important issue is slippery bathtubs with no grab rails. One shower has see through window to outside. We had to hang a towel outside to block it. Another shower had no light, bulb needs replacing. House lighting system is puzzling…whenever anyone gets up at night the entire house lights up. Heating system is poorly designed with one bedroom getting all the heat. We loved the large gathering area...
