Villa Le Querciolaie: dependance della Contessa

Villa Le Querciolaie is an old 10-hectare estate situated on the outskirts of Monteverdi Marittimo whose owner Rolando Stefanacci, internationally renowned sculptor, lives in the 16th century Florentine style villa. The property is surrounded by the generous nature of the inland hills as far as the Etruscan Coast and the crystalline blue Tuscan sea. The sculptor restored some stone rural buildings and decorated them with lots of sculptures in travertine, pietra serena and bronze. Distances: 15 km from Castagneto Carducci (riding school), 20 km from Donoratico (beaches and tennis), 42 km from Massa Marittima, 50 km from Volterra, 55 km from Punta Ala (well-known port and golf club). The villa is located in a quiet location and enjoys a magnificent panoramic view.
In the park facing the villa, sculptor Rolando Stefanacci restored some rural buildings and refined and characterized them with works in travertine stone and bronze, his favorite materials. Large halls, bright kitchens, bedrooms: in every room there is the soul of the artist made of images, symbols, which give the place a sense of peace and tranquility.
Here guests will find a large outdoor pool, covered in travertine, to relax after a walk in the sculpture park or in the various paths departing from the villa. Around the large pool area there is a patio with sun loungers, from where you can admire the estate all around. A few steps from here you find the CALIDARIUM, swimming pool with hot water (38°) covered by vault arches with a large solarium with umbrellas and sunbeds. There is also a bathroom with shower.
A large shared dining-room can host dinners, meetings, events on request.

The interior is bright and airy, with a spiral staircases in travertine leading to the bedrooms on the first floor.
