'Gamble Farm Inn was a welcome surprise. Loved the keyless entry system and the rooms were spacious and well maintained. Having a restaurant on premises, whose food was delicious and affordable was definitely a bonus.'

To check in I had to call a phone number, tell an automated system my name and what I wanted then wait to see if my call was accepted, talk to the person who said they would be right there. 'Out of four days the only housekeeping done was towles brought in once. No little amenities like hair dryer, shampoos . Cigarette butts outside. Beds very loud and creaky. Can hear people through the walls. Couch was old and needed a bad shampooing. Check in was very easy and owner/ manager was good at messaging.'

'We usually love splash magic. However this visit was not as great as other visits. First thing was they still have bingo listed as an activity. But they don’t do it anymore. Secondly the water slides were down a lot. Thirdly the adult hot tub is no longer in use. Fourthly every time my grandkids went to play mini golf (4 different times) there was no one there working. The snack bar by the pool was closed for hours yesterday to clean the fryer. I thought that should be done when it’s not open...

'Not a good place to stay. Seedy and run down. Room was clean as far as linens, floors, bathroom. Walls lampshades not so much. Some suspicious characters outside. I stayed overnight because my husband was in nearby major hospital. After stressful weeks of hospital visits, I thought I'd give this hotel a try for lower cost but it just added to an already stressful situation. Safety catch on door broken. Wasn't very confident the door lock would hold Never again.'

'The bathroom was really clean! I loved the mix of old tiles and modern shower. Check in instructions were helpful but a tad complicated. Looking back I don't know how they could have simplified the directions bc it was very involved but it was a tad stressful to follow all the codes and instructions.
