'The rooms were immaculate and even had a a book in there explaining the history behind the building which was really interesting. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were great all for good pricing. The area is very quiet but there’s plenty of places to go that’s within walking distance or 5-10 minutes in the car but it truly is set out as the Victorian/Tudor era. The staff were so attentive and friendly. Overall amazing stay and would definitely come again!'

'The room was spotless, spacious and well equipped. I loved the DAB radio on the bed side. Nice touch. I prefer to listen to music/ podcasts/ audio books when staying away for work. I was welcomed by the lady on reception as though I was a friend, not a guest. Certainly, the cheeriest greeting I have ever had when checking in. The car park is a little tight but there are plenty of public car parks really close. The restaurant was nice, with a good, varied menu and breakfast was top quality'

' We stayed at The Royston for 1 night - I wish it had been a week. Huge rooms, beautifully styled, super clean and with everything that you need to feel at home.
