'Fabulous location and a fascinating building - highly recommend the little tour that you can take to learn about the history. The pool is lovely, as is the walking in the countryside around the abbey - other than that there's not a lot to do other than soak up the atmosphere. We stayed for two dinners and one lunch. 'Dit hotel is pure luxe. De ligging, architectuur en de tuinaanleg en de inrichting van kamers en gemeenschappelijke ruimtes is buitengewoon. Hopelijk blijven ze het zo goed onderhouden. Een schitterend ontbijt en goede restaurants. Prachtige wellness en golfterreinen. Toch waren er wat schoonheidsfoutjes in de service. De beloofde fietsen om op het terrein te gebruiken waren er niet meer. Men vergat kranten te leveren, niet van ze aan te rekenen. Dat je met de prijzen die het hotel hanteert je...

'Struttura ben curata e pulita. Il personale gentilissimo. Un grazie speciale all'addetto delle colazioni, che sapendo che saremmo partiti prestissimo, ci ha preparato una colazione take-away. Comoda anche la piscina con il suo chioschetto dove poter fare aperitivo o pranzare. Siamo stati molto bene. '

'Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage unseres Häuschens, die Ausstattung, die Aussicht, DIE RUHE (nichts als das Rauschen der grossen schönen Bäume). Unsere charmanten, entspannten, hilfsbereiten Gastgeber und nicht zuletzt das feine vegetarische Abendessen. Alles in allem ein gelungener und schöner Aufenthalt. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen die Unterkunft Paaren, Familien und Alleinreisenden gleichermassen. Herzliche Grüsse an das ganze Team des Bevaio di Corleone'

'This is a beautiful oasis in the countryside, near Selinunte and beaches. It was such a great place to escape the heat, the stress of driving around Sicily using google maps, and traveling in general. Masseria del Carboj has modern amenities, nice aesthetics, a beautiful pool in the middle of vineyard, and feels like you're in Napa valley. The restaurant (Racina) at the hotel is absolutely amazing, like Michelin star level food, so definitely eat here when you stay. '

'A small hotel in an excellent location in the centre of Sciacca. The hotel was pristine and maintained to an exceptionally high standard by the justly proud proprietor. We were made very welcome by all the staff and had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was spacious and quiet with very comfortable beds. The air-conditioning was quiet but very effective. 'Het was geweldig om hier een keer te dineren en te overnachten. Mooi uitzicht over de wijngaarden en over de zee. Personeel was super vriendelijk. Kamer zonder meer goed. Klein nadeel was dat je je koffer een paar trappen naar beneden moest dragen maar het verdere verblijf vergoedt dit meer dan ruimschoots.'

'Een nacht verbleven met zijn tweeën in een drie persoons 'mobil home' tijdens een rondreis met de auto. Zeer eenvoudige accomodatie, schoon, gehorig. Stapelbed waar 3 personen in kunnen, koelkastje, airco en eenvoudige badkamer. Vlak bij het strand en een kilometer of 8 van het dichtsbijzijnde dorp Ribera. Vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt bestaand uit 1 kop koffie en 1 prefab croissant. Er is ook een klein terrasje. '
