Dear Guest. First, we would like to thank you for taking the time to write us a feedback. We are happy to know that you are pleased with our customer service and the apartment itself. We are a bit concerned about the code not working as this is unusual. We wish you had contacted us on the spot for the this. For the other issues we sent our handy man to inspect all the points you mentioned. Please know the TV is working perfectly however there is no cable in the bedroom. It is a Smart TV that allows you to cast from your phone. The heating is working normally as well. Unfortunately there isn't a lock for the bedroom. We are sorry to hear you had issues with the hot water. Usually you need let to water run for a while for it to warm up. As for the door that you mentioned, it has a lock on the inside so it can not be opened from outside. There is no need to worry. It is very safe. As for the city noise, unfortunately it is out of control and it is part of the city life as we are located at the heart of downtown Montreal. As part of the character of the building it doesn't have elevator but this is mentioned on the description.  We are very sorry to know you didn't have your expectations met for this stay. First I would to thank you for your feedback. I take seriously all the points mentioned. I would like to start by clarifying 906 is an internal reference number. Not the actual number to the apartment. Due to the layout of the Expedia website we do not have an area to specify the floor where the unit is located. Furthermore the apartment number is only specified after check-in as usually done in hotels around the world. The booking you make on Expedia was for that  specific apartment we could not make any changes  without cancelling the reservation and on top of that the  check-in procedure was already completed. Stanley Court is located in the heart of downtown Montreal in a very lively area around bars and restaurants. Please understand the city-life noise is out of our control. By the Quebec law the police is in charge of noise complaints. You should have contacted them directly as instructed on our email with the arrival instructions. Even though our property is non-smoking, we  unfortunately do not own the building at Stanley Court. If any of the residents smoke on their home we can not control it. Finally I would like to assure you that our cleaning procedures were updated and adjusted to face the Covid crisis. The professional cleaning company we are working with is strictly following the Enhanced industry-wide hotel cleaning standards in response to COVID-19 provided by the the HAC (Hotel Association of Canada). However the cleaning issues were only brought to our knowledge at the last night of your 3 night stay leaving us no time to correct the situation and offer a solution. I would like to guarantee you there is nothing wrong with the duvets. That is the current presentation of our beds. Last but not least we have completed the set of wine glasses and the maintenance already checked the lock for any issues. Everything is in order.
