'My husband, son and daughter-in-law stayed in this delightful apartment in mid-May. We loved Varenna and the location of the apartment, so close to shops/cafes and sights. The Apartment was HUGE in every respect. Beds/bedding great. Very clean. The host was very generous to provide coffee, bottled waters, juice, a few groceries and snacks. 'The view iwas perfect as it is shown on the photos and even better. The house however was not fully equiped. Although the description told us that there is room for four persons, actually there is room for only two persons. There is only one bed for two, and there is one couch for one person. The fourth person has to sleep is on a airbed (which you have to bring on your own!). Moreover, there was no WIFI / Wlan as described. Therefor the house did not meet our expectations. 'Historic villa property beautifully restored in an amazing location with amazing view. Lunch and dinners on the covered veranda. Would have been better if bath for second bedroom were not down the hall. The owner was wonderful. At our request arranged for a private chef to come to the villa which was lots of fun, and delicious. She also arranged for restaurant reservation for the evening we arrived. Owner communication was excellent! We loved our stay!!!'

'We stayed one month in this house that has a lot to offer : a good location, magnificent views, and a lot of space : several bedrooms, two bathrooms, nice pool for kids, two terraces, more than enough material to cook, two washing machines, two dishwashers, a big garage, etc ... 'If you have the stomach and vehicle for a small, windy and steep climb to the top of Menaggio, this is a wonderful choice. Each bedroom had a well-kept bath (good water pressure). The view is incredible and we enjoyed the amenities. Only comment, is they do not stock it with alot of extras so be sure to bring coffee, laundry detergent etc.'

'We had a lovely time watching the moon rise over the mountain each night from one of several balconies in the house. Our host was very responsive and helpful. When we arrived, we were presented the home in a friendly manner. A beautiful home to enjoy Lake Como. Walking distance to the town center.'
