  • Steeple View is situated in picturesque Todenham, a peaceful village surrounded by stunning countryside, with many footpaths and cycle routes on its doorstep. The popular market town of Moreton-in-Marsh is just over three miles away, home to a number of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a mainline train station with frequent services to and from London Paddington. Todenham Barn Padel X Club is a five minute drive away where courts and equipment can be hired.

    For your shopping essentials, both Moreton-in-Marsh and Shipston-on-Stour have a selection of supermarkets and independent retailers.

Goed

Het huisje was modern en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het was alleen jammer dat de deuren en ramen niet open konden door de overlast van wespen door de fruitbomen aan de achterkant van het huis, die van de buurman waren. Dit zou simpel opgelost kunnen worden door horren te plaatsen. De schoonmaak kan ook wel beter. Bij aankomst stof onder de bedden en hoeken van de plafonds en die zaten er nog steeds naar 2e schoonmaak tijdens ons verblijf. Zoek je rust ben je hier zeker aan het juiste adres, maar ik vond wat ik heb betaald voor de 2 weken het niet waard. De locatie en de gemakken van het huis hebben het enigzins toch er voor gezorgd dat wij met ons gezin een mooie en leuke vakantie hebben gehad.

Great stay with family. Cottage was excellent well appointed and comfortable. Village was quiet and pretty and easy access to local towns and villages. The Pit grill a mile away was great with good food, drinks and views.

First vist to property but seasoned visitor to the cotswolds. We were a little apprehensive having seen other reviews, however the property was spotless, welcome pack in fridge and great location. Very quite village and central for visting other areas. Very happy and will book again.

Good stay

We had a lovely stay over the Easter weekend, would have been nice if there was a pub or shop in the village you need a car for everything which wasn’t a problem for us, the property fitted our needs perfectly, the beds were a bit small.

From the moment we arrived we were blown away by the beauty and serenity of the town and this fantastic cottage. It has everything we cpuld have hoped for, and more. The rooms are spacious and modern while the facade maintains the village charm. There are lots of great walks nearby and towns with amenities all nearby.Coming all the way from Australia, it is hard to say if we will ever be fortunate enough to return here but would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this to any family looking for a luxury retreat in the Cotswolds. We were very sad to be leaving so soon!

Farmers Dog

We booked this again as it was continently placed for us to visit various places we were interested in. Also with our dogs once gates closed they could wander around safely. Off road parking a massive help.

My stay

Had a great stay at Steeple view it was clean and comfortable, only thing was the strong smell of dogs on the sofa which I had to cover with a blanket, the position was great with easy access to different parts of the Cotswolds, I would recommend the property for a nice quiet stay if visiting Cotswold's

A number of issues

Lovely property but needs some attention. Garden very overgrown. Bread and milk left…well out of date Wicker chair large hole in the seat Fridge door doesn’t fit properly Downstairs toilet seat cracked Bathroom plugs didn’t work No mirror in downstairs bedroom No non slip mat in upstairs shower Chipped crockery Feather bedding- asthma sufferers beware

Perfect cottage for family /couples

Stayed here to go to RIAT with our son and daughter in law . Lovely cottage , well equipped , very clean and the lay out of the cottage is perfect . We also loved the outdoor eating area . Lovely quiet village , handy for Moreton in the marsh . We had such a good weekend and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage .

Perfect location for visiting cotswolds

Perfect cottage for an older couple (my mum and dad) with a downstairs bedroom with en-suite . All perfect - although the most complicated hob we have ever come across (worked it out in end )

Great stay in heart of North Cotswold

We had a lovely stay here. Everything was in order and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was so well stocked and we appreciated the coffee, tea milk etc Location was great for getting to all the towns easily. There is a great sofa for 3 people so another comfortable chair would be nice. Overall great stay.

Steeple View is a lovely property from which to explore the North Cotswolds. It was ideal for our young family and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is finished to a good standard and has a great range of appliances.

Lovely short stay

We recently stayed for 4 nights as a family of five plus dog. The property is exactly as described on the website. Small but perfectly formed. Really well equipped kitchen. The garden is small and no grass for the dog but it is surrounded by lovely countryside. We found the beds small but we are used to a super king so that’s more our fault. Our twins loved the bunk beds and the colour changing night light was a fun extra. Overall a really lovely stay and I would recommend to others.

A perfect Cotswold getaway

We had a lovely 4 days at Steeple view. It is a beautifully decorated, and we really appreciated the attention to detail - nice bed linen / towels, coffee pods left and washing machine tablets. We are hoping to come back next year

Steeple View

We had a fantastic 4 day stay (Mon - Fri) at Steeple View. The accommodation was excellent, very clean and well equipped for families and is situated in such a lovely quaint village. Our two young daughters especially loved the bunk bed which was definitely the highlight of their stay. Can’t wait to return hopefully sometime in the Summer!

Short Break

The property is very tastefully appointed and in a lovely village. Everything that we needed was in the house and a nice touch was essential groceries etc. It was secure for our dog once the gate was closed. A great base to explore the Cotswolds areas with nice pubs within a short drive. Stay Cotswolds were very friendly and efficient.

Excellent stay

Had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Property finished nicely, welcome pack a pleasant surprise, as were the condiments left for use. Great location to explore the Cotswolds. Cushions for the outdoor furniture would improve the experience further. Only one slight complaint, the outdoor bin was full when we arrived and wasn't emptied during our week stay.

Lovely place to stay

This place is very well equipped, nice location, and very comfortable. Great base for visiting all the towns of the Cotswolds and lots of National Trust ptoperties. It needs mirrors in the bedrooms and there was a bad smell in the downstairs bathroom. The BBQ had not been left clean.

Home away from home

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Steeple View. I really appreciated the thought that went into providing the little essentials that make a big difference things like bread, eggs, toys for the kids, dog leads, and even suggestions for things to do in the area. It really felt like they’d gone the extra mile. There are just a few small areas that could be improved for next time, such as making sure bins are emptied before new guests arrive, checking that the linen is free from stains, and ensuring the BBQ is cleaned for use. Overall, we had a lovely stay and are looking forward to coming back again.

The cottage was very comfortable, in the end only 3 of us stayed which worked well. There is s seating for 5 people but it would have been a squeeze and cramped. The kitchen was very well equipped and suited our needs very nicely. Bedroom’s were comfortable and clean.
