Weatherboard Cottage met 3 slaapkamers in Mornington. Loop naar strand en winkels. 2 queensize bedden en 1 eenpersoonsbed met uittrekbaar. Vers geschilderd en volledig gerenoveerd met gepolijste vloerplanken overal. 2 badkamers waarvan een ensuite. 1 grote woonkamer met zitplaatsen voor 6+ personen, TV x 2, dvd-spelers x 2, verwarming en airco. Aparte eetkamer. 1e slaapkamer met queensize bed, plafondventilator, airconditioning, familie badkamer, 2e slaapkamer met queensize bed, ensuite en plafondventilator. 3e slaapkamer met eenpersoonsbed en stevige uittrekbare eenpersoons- en plafondventilator. Serre met kleine zithoek, ideaal voor koffie en kranten in de ochtend. Moderne keuken met stenen werkbladen, nieuwe apparaten en een grote ventilator aan het plafond. Volledige wasserette met wasmachine, droger en strijkijzer.
Buiten faciliteiten omvatten BBQ, 6 stoelen buitenomgeving met paraplu.
5 minuten lopen naar het centrum, het strand en een korte rit naar golfbaan, renbaan, antiekwinkels en wijnhuizen.

Very poor experience

We hadn't received the key code on the morning of our arrival. We contacted the host via Stayz with no response. We then acquired the phone number through the Stayz app and sent a text then a follow up phone message. All went unanswered. When we arrived at the cottage at 2pm we contacted Stayz who then contacted the host. We got the code a few minutes later. Barbara phoned and left a message at 8.30 pm that same night saying she has just realised that we were staying for a few days and would follow up with her daughter. So the start of our stay wasn't great to say the least. The accommodation itself wasn't clean. The wooden windows were rotten and most weren't able to be opened. We had to clean the inside of the kettle as it was thick with build up. We came home a day early. Don't recommend this property at all.

We booked a 5 night stay. Messaged property owner on the day as was not given check in details. No response. Rang owner just before due check in time. No answer. Went to property at 2 pm fortunately we already knew the address as we’ve stayed in Mornington quite often for work. It must of been sheer luck as the cleaner had only just begun cleaning. She told us she was meant to clean next day but decided to do it early. After showing her our booking she told us to come back in 30 minutes and gave us the keys. We had no signal on the TV in lounge so rang the owner, no attempt was made by them to come and rectify the problem. Just said they didn’t know what was wrong with it. So for our whole stay we did not watch TV in the lounge. There was a very small TV in the bedroom we could watch. Very unsatisfactory outcome. I would never stay here again. Unprofessional operators. I hope this doesn’t happen to people with future bookings. Will the booking get missed like ours. No apology what so ever from owners. Brushed the mistake off on to there daughter.

Fantastic location!

A very short drive to Mills Beach which is a great beach for kids. House had everything we needed and is very spacious, quiet and comfortable. Kids loved having a game of ping pong in the garage. The internet was great, would have been good if they had a Fire Stick or similar in the tv so we could watch Netflix etc, but apart from that we couldn’t fault the house and would happily stay there again next time we’re in mornington.

This property was well serviced for occupancy of 6 people, and although showing its age on the outside, the inside decor was well up to standard, and perfect for our needs. Access to the main street and beach front are both within easy walking distance. There is an area outside for sitting and eating on a nice day.
