'This is the second of the hosts properties I have stayed in, and I think I will stick to the same hosts going forward. The property was absolutely beautiful with attention to detail for the old colonial style which suited this circa 1880’s home. The bathroom and kitchen fittings/appliances were just gorgeous. The little reading nook off the second bedroom was an added bonus. We did not want for anything. We had a lovely stay. We wished it was longer so we could’ve enjoyed the house more. We will...

'Property exceeded our expectations. Handy location, has a playground across the road and it’s within walking distance to a shopping mall and supermarket. Host provided christmas cups and placemats for our family which were a lovely touch for our xmas away from home. '

'We only stayed for a night and the cottage was good for us. There are lovely grounds and it is very peaceful and private. Everything was provided that we required for a short stay. Being able to bring our dog was a bonus. '

'I really enjoy this cottage....it is clearly loved, and has survived since 1905..through earthquakes etc. It has a wonderful history, is totally private..and is like a quaint country cottage, in the middle of the city. It has all the facilities you might need. Plus an outside bath....fabulous!'
