Can't beat that view!

Lovely two night stay at this cottage. The screened in porch was to die for, with a beautiful view of the harbor. Could have sat there all day! The cottage was clean, had all the necessary amenities (with a lot of extra towels which was a small thing, but such a nice thing), and plenty of space for us to be together but have separate rooms. It's a bit dated but still very nice. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I hoped and the primary shower was very small but otherwise, it was an amazing find! Highly recommend!

Put this property #1 on your list!

Traveled through GA, SC, and NC for a week and this cottage was by far the most comfortable, clean, and updated place we stayed. Waking up and sitting on the back porch watching the boats was so relaxing and quiet. The property feels very remote but you’re only a two minute walk to the water taxi that takes you to historic Charleston district. We will definitely stay at this property again when we return to Charleston.

As Three adults we had all the room we needed. Coffee was available for our mornings on the porch looking out at the fort and watching the harbor come to life. Beds were amazingly comfortable. 5 stars all around for me!

Perfect Charleston getaway

The location of these cottages can't be beat! The view is absolutely incredible and it is only a short drive or Uber ride into Charleston. The layout was perfect for our family of five and we would return in a heartbeat. The view from the screened in porch was just incredible. We only wish we had even more time to relax with the view. Can't recommend the cottages enough!

Charleston Harbor waterfront

Nice property with great views of the Charleston Harbor. Easy drive to downtown and located in a nice area near the aircraft carrier museum. Very nice staff. We would definitely return to this property.

Great place to stay

We loved this cottage. It was a great quiet location with a wonderful view. We loved sitting on the screened in porch in the mornings and watching the boat traffic. Easily able to walk to places around Patriots Point and a quick drive into Charleston. The cottage beds were the best we've slept on at a rental! Would definitely stay here again.

Was ok but probably won't revisit.

The cottages at Charleston was an ok experience. Air went out the 1st night there. That's no fun with a 8mo old but we made it work. 2nd and worst of all the grounds keeper and another gentleman just walks in the back door to our cottage at 9:30am. We weren't due to check out till 11. Still not sure what that was about. The cottage itself needs some TLC. For the price I expected things to be better. At this point my family will not be revisiting.

Very comfortable cottage with a great view of Charleston harbor. There were a couple of glitches with the rental (like not giving us the keys to get in) but all were resolved by the rental agency. It would be nice if they had cleaning service mid week but still very nice.

Delightfully beautiful property!

Cleanliness of property: The property was clean but some corners seemed to have been cut. The dining table was a little dirty, and the bathroom needed a little more TLC. Otherwise, the cabin was comfortable and quaint! The screened in porch and porch furniture was clean and comfortable, the linens were spotless and the towels were soft. Since our stay was several days, we asked for a vacuum and promptly received one. Some mats inside the cabin would have helped from tracking so much dirt in. Check-in process: Check-in was contactless and a breeze! The emails I received beforehand were concise with directions and instructions, and the welcome packet contained everything I needed. Communication with property manager: Lisa answered all my questions thoroughly. She was prompt with requests as well. My only complaint was that she was sometimes slow to respond to my initial emails, but I got the impression that it wasn't necessarily her fault. She seemed like she needed some extra hands! Location: Apart from the gorgeous view, the location was the best part of the property. We were so close to everything and there was plenty to see just walking around the marina area. There was a wonderful restaurant, a gift shop, the marina, and lots of piers to stroll around. We were just minutes from downtown and a beach. And despite being so close to everything, it wasn't noisy and the city lights didn't interfere with the view or night sky. Overall rating: The property is beautiful, cozy, and everything we wanted. I took a star off because a little more attention could have been paid to the cleanliness, and the cabin itself needed some minor sprucing up. There was some peeling and mismatched paint, a broken chair, water spots on the ceiling, falling insulation under the cabin, and the wireless connection was spotty. A technology update to include smart TVs and USB charging in the rooms would be nice.

Fabulous waterfront cottage

We were staying at the cottage to celebrate my daughter‘s engagement. I needed help organizing tables chairs and catering for a celebration. The Events Team at the cottages on Charleston Harbor was incredible in facilitating the fabulous caterer as well as the rental of tables chairs and linens. Good Food Catering dropped off the most amazing meal, and event was wonderful. The cottage itself is cozy extremely comfortable and in a great location. We spent much much of the time on the porch. The view was beautiful and it was very easy to get to and from downtown Charleston.

I was so excited to finally get away to rejuvenate my soul after a long year of no travel and no change of scenery. The sunrises were exactly what I needed! We arrived xmas day to a great surprise! A lighted live xmas tree! It was perfect, we were there to celebrate with my son and his soon to be wife and that made it very special. I sent my list of tweaks to the manager for the next visit, small things ( refrigerator sounded like a truck when it was running and the bathroom sinks were very slow to drain. Because we ate in most meals kitchen ware was tough for us but if it wasn't covid, we would have probably only done breakfast at the house. The back porch was a delight to sit and watch the sun come up! Lots of nice little touches for the holiday (Thank you)

New Years stay

Had a wonderful stay at the cottages. Check in process was easy. Plenty of room and well stocked kitchen. Cottage was a bit dated and were a few small things in poor repair- shower seal coming apart on bathroom in kitchen. Wouldn’t take much to update but was still a wonderful stay. Close to beaches and downtown. Beautiful view of harbor and peaceful to sit on porch and listen to waves and see boats going by. Included breakfast was a bit underwhelming. We opted to eat breakfast out a few times despite it being included with our stay. Overall a great stay.
