'Overall the Beaver's Den was a nice destination for a get-away. Even though there are many houses around the Den, it was generally very quiet. Very much enjoyed watching the woodpeckers, blue jays and hummingbirds enjoying the bird feeders. Would definitely stay here again if it's available when I'm in the area. Tried to kayak on the Chippewa River but gave up. The river moves deceptively fast and with no experience kayaking and traveling alone I decided trying to kayak would be a very bad...

'The home was clean and perfectly sized for our 7 person extended family. The kitchen was well supplied for a family that likes to cook. The hosts were communicative and always responded quickly. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable. Great place!!'

'Looked for a place to stay for a family wedding. What a wonderful surprise to find this charming cabin! We were minutes from family and all the festivities. The cabin was clean and very comfortable with beautiful lake views. Played a few games in the rec area downstairs. As will happen on occasion during stormy weather, we lost power. Fortunately the cabin is stocked with plenty of candles and a flashlight. We are looking forward to future stays when we visit family.'

'We enjoyed our stay at the “Cabbage” for an extended weekend. The lake themed decor along with the functionality of items needed when staying away is great! It is so quiet and calm. We walked to the area where you can put kayaks into the lake. There were geese, ducks, and squirrels which made our dog happy. The General Store in the town of Lake is a must!
