'We love it here! We’ve stayed before and we will return! Great set up in the chalets, perfect for us with 2 kids. Walking distance to the big carrot playground and into town for restaurants, bakery etc. 25 min up to Turoa and less than an hour to whakapapa. The chalets are easily heated, cosy and well maintained. '

'I really like the ambiance of the house. Although after a long day; walking up and down the stairs were a challenge for sure 😂😂 We genuinely loved it though! Wish we stayed longer!! '

'Was typical camping ground cabin. It was great to be able to book it for one night because that was all I wanted. There were no inconsistencies with how it was advertised and what it was. The manager was very pleasant and helpful.'

'In Turangi for a few days fishing with a mate great for two blokes with own bedrooms and ensuites one upstairs one down off the garage. Does sleep a couple more on a mezzanine above kitchen but not ideal unless young and fit lol. Possibly a bit dodgy for older folks or younger kids. Good clean unit with all ammenities. 'Exceptional location, close proximity to supermarket, places to eat and the mount! It surprised us how well the house is stocked and everything is in great condition and plenty of life!The house is toasty warm with the fireplace going! There is plenty of space, and upstairs is great fun for the kids! Having a dog friendly accommodation that has been well looked after is absolutely amazing! Above all - our host was super accommodating when we got stuck on the mountain for longer than anticipated!...

'We loved our stay here and would have stayed longer. The house is beautifully laid out with the living areas upstairs (beautiful views!) and the sleeping downstairs. The kitchen is quite well appointed and has an excellent oven and stove. It's a little drive to anywhere but we had a rental car so that was no issue, only 15 mins to Tongariro visitors centre. '

'Clean. Well equipped with anything you would need on a trip. Heaters etc. kept warm and cozy which was great as the terrible weather unfortunately kept us in all weekend.'

'Zeer gedateerde en kleine appartementen. Doet me denken aan een jeugdherberg in de jaren 70. Het gebouw is in zeer slechte staat van onderhoud. Wat dat betreft stevige prijs die kennelijk alleen gebaseerd is op de ligging ten opzichte Tongariro National Park. Het skigebied bij Whakapa is echter nog steeds een half uur rijden, dus niet heel dichtbij. Wat mij betreft geen aanrader.'
