The house had multiple sleeping options and a spacious living room/dining area for us to gather as well as the basement. It was located conveniently within the resort for access to the trails and pool and activities.'

'Great house for our family get-a-way. Common rooms provided separate spaces for adults, teens and littles kitchen and dining works well for all 12 of us. We’ll kept; beautifully decorated with an “at home” feeling.'

'Beautiful views. Condos were great to stay with family. Love the kitchen. I was able to cook all meals for my family of 4. Jet tubs were dirty so I cleaned it but still felt uneasy taking a bath. Aesthetic of it was nice though. I also loved the options of different activities for adults and family. '

'Enjoyed the stay. Very convenient with Massanutten and near JMU. Some nice sight seeing. The property is well maintained and very quick response time by the manager. They are strict on checkout times. I got a message 15 min before checkout warning me that the housekeeper was waiting on us and that I had 15 min. This was after a snafu at checkin where, even though we were an hour late for checkin, the property wasn’t quite ready. Not a big deal, especially since we booked the day before. Loved...

'Very clean updated place for a family gathering. Kitchen was extra great with all you need to cook up some dinners. Plenty of beds and baths to give everyone some privacy. The wrap around porch was awesome with nice sturdy chairs for everyone It was also great for the kids to run and play and view the woods and deer. All over outstanding place!!!'

'Spring was a nice time to visit Big Timber with the large back deck. We used the fire tables and outdoor kitchen hot tub. We had all eight bedrooms full, but plenty of space for everyone to be together and also find a spot for quite reflection. Even with extra friends stopping in for a little party, we had plenty of space.'

'Bill and Cynthia are such amazing hosts and the property inside and out exemplifies it. What a great place to stay for some serious rural R&R! The property was very clean. They have thought of everything one would need for a delightful get away. If you forgot anything, just ask and they are sure to help one way or another. The Fresh eggs, courtesy of their chickens, were a treat and the farm animals are such fun…esp Posy, Zoey and Hemingway. We hope to return soon for a longer retreat! Thank you...

'Delightful property in a very private neighborhood. Beautiful view from the porch of the mountain line and the family of deer. They came to visit everyday along with cardinals and hummingbirds. It was peaceful and serene. The house was well stocked, air conditioning and WI-FI worked great. We loved the window seat and so did our dog. She took one look at it and made it her spot. The porch really made the house extra special. Fantastic view and very cozy feel. We really enjoyed our time!'
