Firstly, there was no indication before arriving that the place we would be staying at was currently in the process of being remodeled. 'This is a great place to stay! The location is perfect for walking to explore the cute shops and restaurants on state street as well as the live music on the weekends. The room was cozy and cutely decorated. We will be booking again when in the area! '

'We come to the area annually to visit our family and only wish we'd found this spot sooner! Clean, convenient and spacious. We have younger kids and a dog and the park across the street was a great bonus, too. Easy access to all that the area has to offer. Kelly was super responsive and helpful throughout -- we can't wait to come back! '

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
