"This was the perfect cabin for our family! It was clean, new, and beautifully decorated. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio enjoying the weather and wildlife. The sauna was a big hit as was the spa shower. Thank you for letting us stay, we’d definitely love to stay again next time we’re in the area."

"We booked this home for a short Anniversary getaway near where some family and friends are. We love the upnorth relaxed feel. Everything was as stated on the booking website. Clean, beautiful, cozy place. Loved the back deck area and river view. Everything was very nice and check in and out was super easy. Would love to stay here again sometime. "This is our 2nd stay at this property as we have celebrated New Years with friends two consecutive years. Everything was as good as the first time. No snow this time and lake wasn't quite frozen, but the property was still fantastic. There is so much space between the 2 buildings that even with a large group plenty of beds for everyone. Kids (and adults) love the game room."

"Great little cabin for a quick getaway! The cabin was very clean and the beds comfortable. Our lab enjoyed exploring the yard and we enjoyed a bonfire, while grilling steaks. Nice and close to town. "The property is on Wheeler Lake, which is a great lake for fishing and watersports. There's a sandy public beach nearby that you can visit for $5 per person, and the boat launch is fairly close. Lakewood is five minutes away. The cottage is older, but has been nicely remodeled with two newer bathrooms, a modern kitchen and numerous other updates. There's a nice deck with a table and six chairs overlooking the lake, so we spent most of our time outside. The dining table only sat four, but it is...

"The cabin was just adorable and the owner was gracious enough to provide a welcome basket of goodies and supplies. The only problem we encountered, which was absolutely not a huge deal for us, was that the WiFi password was not provided. We possibly located it but what we found did not work for any of the available networks. Again not a deal breaker but if this is important to you make sure to discuss before booking. Also to be noted, the cabin is VERY VERY secluded. Being a woman with 2 small...

"Loved our stay! This cabin and location was the perfect getaway for myself, my fiancee, and our pup. Everything we needed was there on hand. The cabin was very clean, check in process was smooth, and all guest instructions were layed out clearly. Really liked the suggestions of places to visit in the area and things to do. We have stayed at many cabins over the years and this was one of our favorites! *Only note to future guests would be to remember to bring your own wine opener!"

"Everything about this place is amazing. It is the definition of Northwoods and has a fantastic history behind it. We really enjoyed the small perks that it came with, toiletries that may have been forgotten, first aid equipment, baking supplies, games and movies. The TV was a little difficult to figure out, as someone who doesn't use cable. We are definitely making plans to come back in the future."

"The retreat was exactly as pictured and as described. It was incredibly cleaned and stocked with any and everything that we needed, that we may have forgotten, including a first aid kit. The extra surprise was the plunger in the bathroom, which gave us a great laugh. Loved it and would definitely come back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
