'First time stay here and was pleasantly surprised at how the interior is not what you would expect from the exterior. It is every bit as nice as a similar resort in the area and a lot less expensive for a room. It makes up for a lesser view with the amenities and beautiful grounds. The dinner in the dining room was very tasty and reasonably priced. The room was good sized and comfortable. We did pay for spa services, and although they are a bit pricey the staff was great.'

'Love this place and happy to be going there since it opened over 30 years ago It’s changed overtime with multiple different owners. Overall, this pace is still to out liking despite lack of the woodburning for our place, the resort fee and more recently the parking fee. In this particular case, the checkout staff was rude. 'Very nice hotel. We were unable to book a massage but we used the mineral pools. Very relaxing. Went back to the room and our tv didn’t work. They were unable to fix. It wasn’t that important, we were tired and had our phones. The big disappointment was our dinner. The dining area and bar was nice but we were very disappointed with our meals. We opted to leave early and not to eat breakfast there. '

'We never got to stay at the hotel. They called us in the way there and cancelled our weekend due to a ‘ room emergency’. Then we began a nightmare of calls trying to get our refund being bounced between Expedia who told us to call VBRO who would promptly tell us to call Expedia. What a nightmare! I’m still waiting for the hotel GM to return my calls. '
