'What I liked about the Hyatt Hotel property was the welcoming atmosphere, professional staff, and overall cleanliness of the hotel. 'This is not a typical hotel, as it has a very hipster feel to it - even a billiards table in the lobby that you can play for free. Breakfast was pretty standard, but I appreciated that there were a lot of condiments to add to both yogurt and oatmeal. I’m not a pancake person, but the pancakes looked good and they were fruit toppings for them. Fitness Center had a good variety of weights and balls, even a Peleton. Provided water bottles on arrival.'

'The pool and fitness center are open late until midnight, which is nice when you are busy all day, plus they have a late checkout at noon and free shuttles to the airport! Beautiful blooming azaleas everywhere.There is a full breakfast but nothing made to order, still lots of good options. The cons are: limited parking spots, bed was firm so not very comfortable to me, and the fan in the room blows out alternating cold and hot air to maintain temp instead of just shutting off. I kept getting...

'The Candlewood Suites is a relatively basic hotel, but set up for long-term stays. The queen bed was of good quality, but not overly large. The room comes with stove, microwave, and full-size refrigerator and a host of kitchen amenities. Plus a list of additional utilities that can be borrowed from the front desk. Only a few minutes away from PDX and within walking distance of e.g. Budget and Trifty. '
