'We spent one night in this place. The staffs were polite and friendly and welcomed warmly. The room was very clean with an awesome view of river and tall trees. We had access to the backyard and could seat in front of the river. The place was in a beautiful area of Vancouver; although, it was not close to groceries.

'We loved our short stay at Smithe House! It felt like we were staying in a high-end, new-build condo instead of a hotel room. All the finishes and touches were thoughtful, and the staff checked in frequently via text, which was helpful when we had initial troubles getting into the parking garage. We will be back!'

'Expertly appointed rooms, impeccable & attentive service, close to everything (shopping, dining, Stanley Park, museums, etc) comfy beds, all without feeling stuffy. I considered Fairmont properties and Wedgewood for our 4 day stay in the city and am beyond thrilled we ultimately stayed at The Loden. I will certainly stay here again'

Room did not have a terras, but some do, so it might be worth asking for it (if you care about that). Overal a great experience'

I did notice that the elevators were a bit too crowded when there are Conferences going on and since you're not able to easily switch elevators, you might stop on every floor before getting to the lobby (which might be a few of you're high up). Other than that, loved my stay here and would definitely come back again'
