A Golf Weekend with friends
We are a group of 7 mature age people who enjoyed the tranquility and peacefulness of the area. The place was clean, well equipped with kitchen needs and glasses. Our host Vicki was very helpful and obliging. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the back patio in the late afternoon, and took photos of the view of the valley and lots of birds.

A memorable stay
We couldn't be happier with our 2 night getaway at Vicki's lovely place. Easy to find and distance to local sights and was 15 mins from Collie and about 25 mins from Ferguson Valley. All the facilities you could want, clean and plentiful amenities plus a roaring fire to keep us warm. The toddlers had a blast on the playground equipment and toys. Being able to experience gathering eggs, feed the lambs milk and scraps to the chickens was also a unique experience. Thank you so much!

The house is lovely with 4 large Bedrooms , everything was there and the fire was lit and waiting , we had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed the walks on the farm and down to Glen Mervyn dam.

Fantastic Getaway
We had a fantastic getaway from the chaos of city life. Vickie is a very special host, that really makes you feel welcomed in her home away from home! From the lit fire upon our arrival, to the thought that has gone into the feeling the lodge provides. If we could have stayed longer, we would have. We will be back, thank you Vickie.

A quiet & tranquil place perfect for big groups
It was a home away from home. Lovely pair of alpacas made the view even more wonderful. We saw kangaroos on some mornings too. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. Supply of drinking water is really a nice gesture that we so appreciate. It does get cold at night but there’s ample wood fire for us to use. Great place for big groups

Lovely country homestead with practical, clean and warm amenities. After a few days here and watching sunset over the hills and a proper night sky of stars we are feeling pretty chilled out! Wonderful weekend
A beautiful place to spend a weekend enjoying the serenity of the setting and all the wildlife. Especially loved listening to the black cockatoos and watching the 28 parrots flitting through the trees. Thank you for sharing your little bit of paradise.

Short summer holiday
Beautiful country lodge on rural property within 6 mins walk to Glen Mervyn dam for swimming and catching marron. Peaceful location with a few alpacas, chickens and lots of birds. Spot the kangaroos close to the forest in the early morning. Surprising few flies or mosquitoes. Lots to see and do nearby.

This is a lovely house with beautiful views from every room. Our little dog loved the freedom to run around and got a lot of enjoyment barking at the Llamas! Like every other review, it was lovely to arrive to a lit fire and a warm house. Vicki's communication was excellent.

Property was as expected but was lovely to arrive to the fire already burning. The view over the farmland is sensational and the cows coming up for a feed in the morning was wonderful. Beautiful drive through the Ferguson valley to get there. Thanks Vicki.

great farmhouse for the Ferguson Valley
this was a great place for friends to stay, out in the country surrounded by rolling fields, cows and alpacas. Very comfortable farmhouse, great setup for children with extensive play areas. We will return.

How's the Serenity?
Great location (close to Collie, but not too close), next to the lake and overlooking paddocks and forest. Large bedrooms and two distinct lounge areas, awesome pot belly stove and a great enclosed yard with swings and a cubby house for the kids to play while the parents are overlooking from the verandah enjoying the sun. Great weekend getaway.

Amazing location
Stunning views and lots of space to explore and enjoy. Also a little playground in the yard which our toddler loved. The house is well fitted out with everything you would need, and Vicki is really friendly and accommodating. The only issue we had is that the listing said there is air conditioning, but apparently this applies to the cottage not the lodge. The wood fire does heat the whole house but with a 5 month old baby we would have preferred to be able to regulate the temperature. Otherwise though we had a really relaxing stay and would definitely come back

a great spot for a short holiday
My sister and chihuahua arrived for a three day stay at this lovely property and found the fire going (thank you Vicky) and everything we needed. It is a beautiful spot with glorious views and well located. We walked to the dam and watch it overflowing, and spent some time exploring nearby dams, forests and towns. Great weather as well We are planning on returning soon - a home away from home

When we arrived Vicki had the fire going and the house was very cosy. Vicki was a great host and very chatty when we saw her. Stunning views, very comfortable
We had a great time staying at the Lodge. The property is beautiful and Vicki was fantastic. The kitchen could have been better equipped, we missed having a fry pan and roast pan for cooking. It was a bit tricky trying to keep our dog on a lead at all times whilst outdoors, but Vicki mentioned the fence was being repaired soon so it might not be an issue next time. I got the impression from the listing that we would have the place to ourselves, but the owner lives in the adjoining building and there is a cottage on the property which is also rented out. Not an issue for us, but something to be aware of. Overall we loved it and Vicki was very accomodating. We would love to come back.

Artscape at Wellington Dam
A great escape for city dwellers, we enjoyed nights by the log fires (2!) and comfy beds. Lots of room to spread around in this huge property and with the Mumby (Mumbalup) Pub just a couple of K's down the road, which has the best Surf & Turf and Lamb Shanks, we were well provided for. Best time is early morning with the mist hanging over the valley and the alpacas roaming around...what a view! Thank you Vicki, for your friendly hospitality! Cheers, Sharrynne

Plenty of space for a lovely getaway with beautiful views
4 of us (two couples) stayed at the property and we had a great time! There is plenty of space for a larger group And would be great for families with separate living and dining areas indoors and outside. Vicki was very helpful and we adored her gorgeous dogs. Beautiful views from the kitchen and lounge room windows and outside of alpacas, chickens and plenty of bird life. Close to Collie and Donnybrook, it was easy to go get some shopping in those towns for the house and an easy drive to breweries and wineries for our days out. Lovely indoor fires kept the whole house cozy and warm. We will be back!

Blissful Getaway
We wanted to getaway to somewhere quiet and relaxing over Christmas with all of the family and this property was perfect.
