Amazing!!
The owner was very responsive and even dealt with my silly questions. The place was amazing! Better than we imagined! We had our wedding reception here afterwards and the space accommodated everyone. It was very clean and such a nice area to chill and play board games. The view was extremely relaxing and beautiful. It was walking distance from a great restaurant and the casino. Our friends and us plan on returning to this awesome property!!

The perfect home base
This house served as the perfect home base for a family trip. The house was immaculately clean, check in was easy as could be, and Ashley is very responsive if you have any questions or issues. We loved exploring the UP during the day and coming back to unwind and share dinner together in the afternoon. The pictures don’t even do it justice, the backyard is beautiful! We would absolutely stay here again.

Women’s snowmobile Trip
The house is in an excellent location for trial riding and after trail ride food with a restaurant:bar in walking or if needed crawling distance. We have returned to this location/house a number of times due to its location and amenities - hot tub, garage, large parking area and beautiful rooms throughout. Recommend this house to anyone wanting t on your the UP.

Snowmobile Trip
Great location for snowmobiling in the U.P. Close to gas, food and easy access to the trail head. Tons of room for truck and trailer parking. Access to two car garage should you need to do any sled “repairs.” The house was well stocked and held our group with ease. We had a minor issue with the keypad access and Ashley had a maintenance guy on-site ASAP to repair it. Pleasure to deal with as a host. Thanks!!!

Family Vacation
This property worked very well for my family. The 5 bedrooms were found to be just as listed and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with pots and pans but there was only a 3 cup coffee maker and a Kerig. We did not bring k-cups and there wasn’t a k- cup adapter to put your ground coffee in. This was only a small inconvenience which had zero effect on our stay. The hot tub was awesome and we used the firepit every night. We were only 1/4 mile from the atv trailhead which was awesome. Several activities to do in the area including pictured rocks. We will definitely keep this place in our vacation rotation.

Accessible and beautiful.
We were a little surprised to find the property so close to a busy road, but it turned out to be a minimal annoyance. Gorgeous backyard and conveniently located for easy access to everything you might need. We highly recommend this property and host.

Lots of laughs and fun in the snow.
Beautiful house in an excellent location for riding the sleds, close to the trail head. Walking distance to the casino and restaurant/bar. We've been staying in this house for years, planning on staying from many more. Updated since last year, now with a finished bathroom in the basement, makes it even easier to get a number of people cleaned up after coming off the trails in time to catch dinner at the restaurant or meet up with friends at the bar. (though the bathroom is still lacking a mirror - I am sure that is still in the works.) Only downer this year was the hot tub was out of service. Hoping this will be back up and running next year.

Great Location For Snowmobiling
This was the third year we have booked this property for a yearly snowmobile trip to the munising area. As usual the proprerty did not disapoint and we were very excited to find a bathroom had been added in the basement with an additional shower which had always been a pain point in the past. The hot tub was not functional which was a disapointment for our group but we made due with other activities when we were not out enjoying the trails. Overall would certainly stay again and have already booked a trip for 2023.

Great for family summer adventures!
Great comfy house in a very convenient location. We had 8 adults, 4 kids 8-14 and 2 pets. Plenty of space. So Clean! So many towels! The pots and pans were definitely well used but served their purpose. Awesome home base for all all our UP adventures and waterfall chasing! The covered hot-tub was awesome. Coffee on the deck in the morning overlooking the lake before the kids were up was worth every penny.

Fantastic Base for a UP Adventure
Five bedrooms. Two and a half baths. Two living room spaces. A large deck facing the lake. A firepit. A small dock. Plenty of parking space. A well stocked kitchen. Right off the highway that leads into Munising, but not close enough to notice traffic noise. Super close to Lake Superior overlooks. You can't ask for much more from a vacation rental. Pick this one. You won't be sorry. It even includes a large washer and dryer to clean-up after your adventures and two garage spaces. Absolutely gorgeous sunsets viewable out back.

Wonderful stay, cleaning crew needs fired
The location and price cannot be beat, my friends and I chose to stay at this lovely home because it was close to several places we wanted to see. The host was accommodating and kind when we mentioned the hot tub being dirty and assured us the cleaning crew was supposed to have maintenanced it. It was clean the cleaning crew did not vacuum or dust but the towels were clean and so were the toilets. All in all would stay again.

Can’t wait to go back
Pulling up to the house it doesn’t look very big, but it is! We had 4 kids and 6 adults and everyone got a bed and a bedroom. The inside of the house was very clean and DID NOT smell musty like some waterside houses I’ve rented. It seemed updated. The house had everything we needed. Be sure to bring k-cups for coffee! We planned to make most of our meals but there were so many restaurants nearby that we got carry-out half the time. It is in walking distance from a place called Foggys that was hoppin’ all week long. We got pizza and pasties in Munising that was only a 10 minute or less drive. My friends were a little concerned about being so close to all the action, the house is close to the main road on a side street but it was nice being close to a gas station/party store/restaurants. A few of my friends hit the casino too. Once you go to the backyard all of that fades away and you have a really pretty lake to look at. We could see only one neighbor’s house and the other side of the lake is just wilderness. We spent most of the time on the upper deck but could spread out to the lower patio or the fire pit. The grill was really nice and clean. The beds were comfy and the rooms had good dark curtains so I slept very well. Water pressure in the bathrooms were good and there was city water. The living room and lower level had little heaters that looked like fireplaces. We turned it on with no heat just for ambiance. My friend forgot her paddle board so we didn’t really go in furnace lake but paddle boards would have been perfect for that lake. The kids jumped in a few times from the dock. Lake Superior access is in walking distance or drive to Sand Point Beach in Munising. As we were packing up to leave my kid asked if we could come back next year. I hadn’t been to the UP since I was a kid but there is something magical about this area.

Great weekend getaway
We always visit the upper peninsula every few years but this is the first time at this location. The house is beautiful and well kept. It was large enough to fit my family and my extended family comfortably. It’s close to main places we wanted to visit for this trip. I will definitely be using this location again in the future, absolutely no complaints.

Excellent location for snowmobiling. Just blocks off of the trail and next door to a gas station. Also across the road from Foggies and next door to the casino. his is our second stay here. This place is 30 miles by snowmobile to Lakenenland and 72 miles from Grand Marais. Ashley is responsive and a great communicator. The house was clean and the garage is available to park your snowmobiles. We were able to fit 6 sleds in the garage. 3 of the bedrooms' have memory foam mattresses and are very comfortable. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Towels and linens were also nice. We be back in 2023.

Great location! Very close to the casino. Short drive to beautiful beaches, waterfalls and downtown Munising. House is a good size for larger groups, with plenty of spacious bedrooms. Just remember to bring your own firewood and kayaks/floats for the lake.

Perfect Place for seeing falls
We were on our family vacation plus my in-laws (10 of us). This was perfect for us. The kids each had their own bed and used the fairly comfortable hide-a-bed even though we didn’t have to. The location on an in-land lake was great for kayaking. There is a small area to swim with a sand bottom that is shallow. We found that we were less than an hour away from all the waterfalls we wanted to see (both directions from Munising) and close to Au Train Lake, which looked fun. The cabin was clean, had all the necessities and then some. Nice fire pit, nice hot tub, great space for a large group. You could tell that they catered to the snowmobile crowd too. Wing able to use the two car garage was really nice and made us feel like our stuff was very safe. Highly recommend.
