It’s about a 2 hour drive, or less, to most locations in the UP, so day trips are very accessible from this cabin.Communication with the property owner was seamless, prompt, and precise. 'We started out with one daughter and her family that live in the area. Then they went home and another daughter and her family came to stay. Because the other family lives nearby they came in for some day trips too. We loved the ease of staying, especially check in and check out. Very casual. I’d recommend this place. The location is great too. One fun thing was the comment in the listing that was something about being within sight distance of the lake. Only if you have a drone in your pocket....

'The evening stars and morning birdsong were magical at Cranberry Lake Lodge. Many varied types of hiking trails in the area. The cabin is comfy, cosy, and super clean. Absolute quiet of the location was a treat for us city dwellers!'

'What a great little getaway we had. The view was phenomenal, Looking out at the lake. We went kayaking was it was so peaceful and serene. Never heard so much quiet before. Was a little confused about the sign in agreement, but it all worked out. We definitely recommend this place and reading the directions on how to find it. It’s way back in the woods.'

'This is a beautiful cabin and a very peaceful Lake. There is about 5 mi of unpaved road to get there. The GPS worked pretty well but the owners were even better at letting us know how to find it. We ended up getting there after dark and did not have trouble. It's a little hard on your car to drive on the unpaved roads but it was worth it. You should also know that adds about 15 minutes to your time to get anywhere. The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful. Lots of room. There is no air...
