'We stayed here as a stop-off between driving. As described, it is a quiet place to relax away from the constant beeping from tuk tuks, cars and bikes. Activities are available - we took the option to kayak. The food, whilst good, needed to be warmer. Every meal was tepid in temperature. As it was out-of-season, there was only us and one other pair here. I can imagine this being a good place when more people are around. 'We booked this hotel for 1 night stay over New year’s eve. Found there was a disconnect between Expedia booking and the hotel reservations. Expedia booking was confirmed but when I called hotel to make a room request they did not recieve any email or confirmation from Expedia. 'The rooms are not worth the price, I spoke to other guests as well and they felt the same. They arranged an activity which was not well Managed. Felt like they were short of staff as no one came when we needed them. The buffet was not well managed as well- short of dining plates, tables were not clean- we had to eat on a dirty table, and some guests had breakfast in the gallery adjoining the restaurant. We asked a person to clean the table, but no luck! The food was also not good. It was hard...

'Hotel is located approx 22 km from Munnar town centre, its not ideal if you like to visit other places around. Half time wasted climbing up and down from the town centre. Food cost very high, a lot better options if you eat outside but again the annoying journey up and down. Overall its a OK place if you want to just stay in the hotel and don't mind food cost.'
